They had come back from the Dongting Lake trip, upon his advice Mo Fan shaked down Song He for some resources and he ultimately paid Dean Xiao for letting Mo Fan cultivate in the three step tower after Zhan Kong cleared his returned to civilization.
Lin Feng sold off the eggs and got 500 million for it combined. Zhang Xiaohou and Lin Feng got about 167 million between them and Mo Fan got 106 after paying his debt. Mo Fan also got twenty million for the corpse of the Xuanwu Lizard from Li Man.
Zhang Xiaohou became the biggest beneficiary and bought some stuff to improve his cultivation.
Lin Feng's savings became nearly 350 million and he didn't really buy anything, but Mo Fan wanted to buy an extraordinary piece of armour and was unsatisfied with most of the things on sale and decided to find some materials and have them crafted.
Incidentally Mo Fan got into a fight with Wei Rong although he didn't join towards the end of the year and was promoted to the hundreth rank.
Mo Fan had already recovered his cultivation and had an even easier time beating the students who wanted to challenge him, he soon made a push and became the twentieth rank and the highest among newcomers surpassing Lin Feng.
Mo Fan seemed to have calmed down after that and met up with Xinxia for the trouble and stuff. His next objective was to find a good contracted creature.
Lingling even found some information about something of a high lineage and they were preparing to catch that, in order put a stop to all that madness he promised Mo Fan an extraordinary creature that could even improve his Fire element, he just had to wait a few months and stock up on some food for the beast as well.
But in order to placate Lingling he decided take up some missions anyway since their strength had stopped growing.
