Capítulo 31: Requirements

Scott stepped up to the pair as Nicholas pulled back from kissing Ana. "Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Stanton. How does it feel to be married?"

Nicholas laughed, "Ask me in an hour when it's fully legal."

Ana sighed heavily. She squeezed Scott's hand and tried to smile but grimaced instead.

"Darling, it won't be so bad." Scott tried to reassure her but remembered the disaster that the consummation requirement had been when he and Ana had to do theirs. He now firmly believed that having your first experience under the microscope of the government was a monumentally bad call.

"I am so pent up that at least it will be fast," Nicholas assured Ana who smirked at him.

The officiant walked back into the room. "Nicholas if you and Ana will follow me, I will take you to the requirement room."
