His thoughts quickly turned to the tasks ahead.
"Alright, let's see what I need to do today," Adam murmured, accessing the system panel. His Chakra had recovered significantly overnight, though he still felt the lingering fatigue of the previous day's exertions.
'I wonder how the farm is doing. Speaking of, do buildings have instruction manuals?'

'It's still weird that I can't hear any other living beings in this forest. I don't mind not hearing wolves howling or bears growling in the middle of the night, but not hearing birds chirping in the morning feels weird.'
Adam continued his thought process as he walked.
'Is this valley special or something? I mean, clichés would indicate that it is like an ancient graveyard, a cursed valley or sealed special realm. Not that I have seen any indication of that.'
Adam finally arrived at his farm, where the small plot of land was already showing signs of life, with seedlings sprouting from the freshly tilled soil. He called up the system panel to check the farm's status.

Curious about the Chakra infusion, Adam decided to give it a try. He focused on the farm and began channeling his Chakra into the soil. A soft glow emanated from his hands as he felt the energy flow from his body into the ground.

He could already imagine it, the whole world going to shit with death and misery being spread left and right, meanwhile he and his people are just chilling on lawn chairs with piña coladas in one hand and some shrimp in the other.
'Speaking of, I hope I'm still in the Warring Clans Era. That would make it immensely easier to build the safe haven I have in mind.'
'But who being safe means being able to fuck up anyone messing with you. So I should start with some basic defenses, and whatever those watchtowers do.'
'For now, let me get this food.'
Adam performed one last Chakra infusion to speed up the harvest. He focused again, channeling his energy into the soil.

'Meh. Who cares about diabetes when you can spam jutsus at enemies without having to worry about running out of energy. I'm sure I can find some health-care facilities in the system, and I'll make sure that people can keep the arm and leg they healed in the hospital. Unlike in some countries.'

He set out into the valley once again, ready to collect the necessary resources. Using his enhanced strength and Chakra, Adam quickly felled trees and broke rocks, gathering the required wood and stone.
With the resources in hand, he returned to the clearing and initiated the construction near his house through the system panel.

The wood and stone glowed and began to assemble themselves into a functional kitchen.
Watching the stone fly and attach to each other before slamming into the ground as a foundation, followed by the actual kitchen building itself and the necessary furniture to function will never get old.
'It's like something out of Harry Potter, or hogwarts legacy where reparo just makes ancient ruins rebuild themselves. Or even better, it's like those lego games where the characters just move there hands up and down and a catapult appears out of debris.'
Of course, Adam felt the familiar drain on his Chakra, but he was getting used to the sensation.
Oddly enough, even though he used his Chakra twice on the farm and now on the kitchen, he doesn't feel that tired. Unlike the day before where he was exhausted after 2 buildings.
After a short while, the kitchen was complete. Adam stepped inside and admired the setup, which included a cooking station, countertops, and basic utensils.

'...Another overpowered cheat,' Adam thought, feeling confident in his future success. 'Even if each recipe has a limit on the permanent buffs, that just means that I have to get different recipes to keep benefiting.'
He decided to test out the kitchen by cooking some of the harvested crops. Adam selected the Cooked Carrots recipe and got to work, following the instructions provided by the system. Soon, a delicious aroma filled the air.

Adam took a bite of the cooked carrots and didn't really feel any different. To test if the boosts work, since theoretically he is now 7% faster, he decided to go for a little run.
He does know his own speed, after all, while he might not have been an Olympic athlete, he did do a lot of sports back in his old life. Mostly running, swimming and some weight lifting in between.
His parents were both big on sports, which is probably where he got it from. His dad taught gymnastics and was a personal trainer on the side, while his mom was a swim coach.
'I miss them.' Thought the now technically orphan boy, a single tear silently crawling down his face.
Let's give him some time to mourn his lost family, shall we?
'Get yourself together Adam. They're gone and you probably won't ever see them again. I should just be happy that I have this opportunity now. They would want me to find success wherever I am.'
With that final thought, the chaos in Adams mind slowed back down to normal. In his grief, he hadn't even noticed how the ground under him started to cave inwards, nor how his hands started to glow with a redish light.
Though now relatively more calm, these details became immediately apparent to him.
'MY HANDS! Is this blood?! Wait no, I don't feel any pain. If anything it's the opposite, I feel like I can knock out an elephant. My Chakra isn't in my abdomen anymore, it feels like it's coursing through every part of my body.'
Adam pulled his arm back, and almost went ahead and punched before he glanced at his newly built kitchen and nearby house, immediately stopping when thinking of the consequences.
Still feeling the urge to test his hands to let out some steam, Adam sprinted to the edge of the forest away from his base and near the rock formations where he has been getting his stone.
He could feel himself going at ludicrous speeds. Not having used Chakra for running before, Adam really couldn't tell how much the food he ate enhanced his speed. Not that that was even on his mind at the moment.
"WOOOOOOHHH BABYYYY! THIS IS WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT! HELLL YEAAAAHH!"
Adam bobbed and weaved between tree trunks, branches and roots. Pushing himself to go even faster and faster, immersing himself in his adrenaline high to ignore his loss.
He finally made it to his stone source, an area strangely dense in oddly shaped stone formations. If the teenager was a little more calm at the moment, he would probably notice what is wrong with this place.
A closer look would reveal that these formations are shaped almost like hum....
And then Adam punched.
Adam's fist collided with the densely packed stone formations, unleashing a sudden burst of kinetic energy. The impact reverberated through the area, sending shockwaves rippling outward. Rocks shattered into fragments, some propelled high into the air while others were pulverized into fine dust. A cloud of debris and dust billowed outwards from the epicenter of the punch, obscuring the surroundings momentarily. The once sturdy stone formations now lay in disarray, their shapes distorted and broken by the explosive force of Adam's strike.
"Woah." Uttered out Adam, speechless at the power he now wields.
As the dust settled, a gentle silence blanketed the area. Only the huffs and puffs of the exhausted boy could be heard.
'I'm definitely out of Chakra now. I feel drained, like my soul is empty. Not to be an emo. What was that back there? I felt like my whole body was going berserk. Actually no, not berserk, a better word would be like my Chakra itself was excited and hyperactive. Like a child on caffeine.'
'Can Chakra be sentient? Oh what am I saying of course it can, what with the giant Chakra kaijus that exist in this world. But I thought that that was exclusive to them because of the ten tail and whatever magic Hagoromo cooked.'
'Now that I think about it, when I was in that state, I didn't feel like there was someone else in my head. If anything, I felt more like myself than I have in a while. Everything wasn't so bleak anymore, it was just...Fun.'
'So to recap. Even though I'm not a Jinchūriki, I have some kind of charkra mode. I should chose a name for it....hmm... I'm thinking something like Harmony Surge, or Harmony Bliss.'
'For now, i should see if there is some better way to transport these rocks back to base. System!'

Adam suddenly stopped in place in shock.
Now that the dust had fully settled and he was paying attention, he finally noticed what was wrong.
The boy stared horrified at the petrified remains of dozens of people turned to stone long ago. Their limbs shattered from their bodies and scattered across the ground, pain and misery forever etched on to their stone faces.
Adults, children and elderly people. All seemed to have suffered the same agonizing pain before their forceful return to nature.
And that's just this one rock outcrop. A broader look would reveal the existence of hundreds to thousands of these stone formations, now akin to tombs holding young and old in their embrace.
And Adam just stood there.
With a small, broken hand at his feet.
