Chapter 4: Buggy! Buggy!
"Buggy! Buggy! Buggy!"
More and more prisoners freed themselves from their cells, eagerly shouting Buggy's name! Buggy stepped out of his cell, glanced at Raymond, who lay motionless on the ground, and kicked him against the stone wall.
Raymond's condition was uncertain—whether he was alive or dead remained unclear.
For a moment, the scene fell silent, but then the cheers grew even louder!
"Buggy! Buggy! Buggy!"
"Boss Buggy is so cool!"
"Long live Buggy!"
Buggy raised his hand and made a gesture for silence. Instantly, the crowd fell quiet, their eyes fixed on him with intense anticipation.
Buggy grinned widely and shouted, "Do you want meat, everyone?"
The crowd was momentarily stunned. At the mention of "meat," they instinctively swallowed. Their usual diet had no oil, let alone meat. Though they had grown accustomed to it, Buggy's question had stirred their hunger.
"Yes!"
The next moment, everyone shouted in unison!
"Do you want to drink?"
Buggy asked, his smile growing wider and his voice even louder.
"Yes!!"
The crowd's response was even louder!
"Do you want freedom?"
Buggy continued, his voice booming.
"Yes!!"
The crowd's cheers reached a fever pitch, their eyes blazing with fervor!
"Then what are you waiting for? Break into the control room! Open the prison storeroom! Storm out of Impel Down!
"Barbecue! Drinks! Freedom! It's all right in front of you!
"Listen up, everyone! We're pirates who value freedom above all! Impel Down can't contain our desire for freedom!
"For freedom's sake, break out of Impel Down! Fight!"
Buggy raised his arms and exhaled, stirring up the crowd's excitement to its peak!
"Fight! For freedom! For Boss Buggy!"
The long-oppressed prisoners, their eyes red with rage, rushed towards the stairwell leading to the ground floor with triumphant cries!
Buggy smiled and signaled to his most trusted subordinate.
Seeing this, the subordinate hurried over, eyes full of eagerness. "Boss Buggy, what's your command?"
Buggy pointed to a corner with surveillance equipment and said, "Get a few people to tear down all of this stuff!"
"These are their eyes, and without them, our actions won't be under their control!"
"Yes!" Dogleg No. 1 nodded eagerly, then asked with some confusion, "Boss Buggy, what about you?"
Buggy waved his hand and replied, "I'm going down a few floors to release more prisoners and create more chaos!"
Buggy knew it was nearly impossible for these people to escape prison successfully on their own. Only by releasing the stronger prisoners from the lower levels could there be a chance of success!
However, when Dogleg No. 1 heard Buggy's plan, his reaction was quite different!
"You could have escaped by yourself, but Boss Buggy, you're still thinking about saving more people!"
"Boss Buggy, you're amazing!"
The doglegs' eyes were filled with tears, moved by Buggy's selflessness! At that moment, Buggy seemed to rise to a god-like status in their eyes, glowing with admiration!
Buggy smiled and, feeling a rush of confidence, thought his luck must be turning around! Without further explanation, he said, "Alright, let's get to work! I'll leave this level to you for now."
Dogleg No. 1 immediately stood straight and responded with determination, "Don't worry, Boss Buggy. I'll definitely complete the task you've given me!"
With that, Buggy said nothing more and vanished from sight!
Meanwhile, Dogleg No. 1 energetically began calling others, following Buggy's instructions to clean up the surrounding surveillance phone bugs!
In the monitoring room, several jailers looked increasingly worried as the surveillance footage showed fewer and fewer clear images.
"Quickly inform the warden and deputy warden!"
"Requesting support! Requesting support! All the prisoners on the first floor have escaped!"
"First, tell the backup forces that just arrived to fall back and set up a defensive line! There are too few of them to hold back the prisoners!"
Despite their panic, the jailers continued to act with efficiency!
Four floors underground, in the scorching depths of Hell, Prison Warden Magellan's office:
"Bang!"
Magellan slammed his fist on the desk, his face twisted in anger. "What the hell is happening? Why is there a riot now?!"
Domino adjusted her glasses and reported, "According to the monitoring room on the first basement floor, the prisoner Buggy the Clown, number E8200, hid his strength and attacked a blue gorilla jailer, causing the riot!"
"Most of the prisoners on the first basement floor have been released, and there aren't enough jailers there to control the situation. They're currently setting up a defensive line and waiting for reinforcements!"
"Hannyabal has already been dispatched, so it shouldn't be long before the riot is suppressed!"
Magellan said in a deep voice, "Tell Hannyabal that this riot must be contained as soon as possible! If it spreads further, it will disgrace everyone in Impel Down!"
"Additionally, tomorrow the Navy Headquarters will be sending Fire Fist Ace here! If the riot escalates, it might be better if they're aware of it!"
"When that happens, I'll have no face left as the warden, so I'll take the blame and resign!"
Domino nodded and replied, "Understood."
Magellan paused and asked, "By the way, that clown Buggy hides his true strength. How strong is he really?"
Domino thought for a moment and said, "Buggy the Clown has been active in the East Blue with a bounty of 15 million Berries. After entering the Grand Line, he wandered aimlessly until he was captured by accident after stumbling into a naval base!"
"However, considering he was able to defeat the Blue Gorilla Jailer, his strength is at least on par with a pirate who has a bounty of around 50 million Berries."
Magellan frowned, feeling something was off.
He wasn't concerned about Buggy's strength per se; after all, the prisoners held on the Level 4 of Impel Down were all worth at least 50 million Berries or more!
A pirate like Buggy was hardly worth his notice! The idea of someone aimlessly wandering through the Grand Line and accidentally ending up in a naval base was almost laughable.
Could there really be such a clueless pirate in this world?
Magellan thought for a moment and said, "Inform Little Sadi. Have her prepare, and when she catches Buggy, she must ensure she tortures him and gets the information out of him!"
Just to be cautious, Magellan decided to take preventative measures and ensure that Buggy wasn't sneaking into the city with hidden motives.
Domino nodded, bowed to Magellan, and then withdrew.
Magellan then got up and headed back towards the restroom.
He had only relieved himself halfway earlier, and after holding it in for so long, he couldn't hold it any longer!
