Capítulo 15: 15. People Who Should Be Cherished Around You Are Even More Important!

After more than ten minutes, Rob had killed all the pirates. At the same time, he moved the treasure and supplies from the pirate ship to the small sailboat. Standing at the bow of the small sailboat, Rob gazed at the massive pirate ship.

He thought for a moment, then pulled out the straight sword at his waist. Using Armament Haki to enhance his attack power, he raised his hand toward the pirate ship in front of him and slashed three times horizontally and vertically.

With a resounding "Clang—," the huge slashes from the three strikes cut the large pirate ship into several massive pieces, which then slowly sank into the sea along with the corpses on it.

At the same time, a hurricane blew in, and the canvas of the small sailboat instantly swelled. The sailboat began to slowly navigate through the fragments of the split pirate ship and then continued to sail forward.

After sheathing his sword, Rob felt the power of the wind. He looked at Robin, who was counting supplies, and said, "The wind is picking up! Let's continue our voyage. In half a month at most, we should be able to find Aunt Olvia!"

Hearing Rob's words, Robin, who was not particularly interested in berries but valued daily necessities, froze for a moment. With a sweet smile on her face, she replied, "I'm not in a hurry!"

Rob looked at the sensible Robin and couldn't help but reach out and rub her little head. This little girl was so understanding that it made him feel pity for her. She could hold back her temper and remain patient, but Rob felt the pressure of time weighing on him.

He knew that if Olvia was caught and taken to Impel Down, it would be devastating. Even if it meant making Robin cry bitterly or complain about him for a period of time, he wouldn't bring Robin to Olvia again if it meant risking a confrontation with the World Government or the Marines.

Therefore, to let Robin meet Olvia or change Olvia's fate, they had to act quickly.

Another half month passed. Following the direction of the vivre card, Rob and Robin sailed for a full month in the first half of the Grand Line. They finally arrived at a familiar island in the first half: Jaya Island.

At the port of Mock Town, after docking the small sailboat, Rob and Robin disembarked. Holding the vivre card in her hand, Robin felt a mix of timidity and anticipation.

"Oni-chan, mom is on this island, right?" Robin asked, her voice filled with hope.

Rob reached out and rubbed Robin's little head, holding a straight sword about his height in his right hand. He said, "Let's go and see!"

With that, Rob held Robin's hand and walked directly into Mock Town. Although many people were surprised to see two children, no one dared to approach them.

These people were fortunate enough to keep their lives because Rob was now determined. After entering the Grand Line, Rob had practically killed his way here. Once he was ready to kill, he didn't mind whether blood flowed like rivers or how many people he had to cut down.

After all, people don't keep track of how many slices of bread they've eaten.

It wasn't long before they made their way deeper into the town.

Rob took Robin and followed the guidance of the vivre card to the lobby of a hotel in Mock Town. Before Rob could ask the service staff about Olvia's whereabouts, Robin suddenly clenched her hands. Her eyes filled with tears as she stared at a tall, silver-haired beauty who had appeared in the hotel lobby, her body trembling slightly.

Noticing Robin's reaction, Rob's eyes followed her gaze to the tall beauty. With just one glance, he was sure this was Robin's mother — Nicole Olvia!

"Oni-chan..."

Robin, clearly recognizing her mother, looked at Rob.

He smiled and let go of Robin's little hand, patting her gently on the back. "Go!"

Encouraged by Rob, Robin nodded and quickly walked towards Olvia. At that moment, Olvia, who had been busy with something, noticed her daughter. She froze in place, staring at Robin in disbelief, her eyes filled with a mother's love.

She had not expected to see Robin, who should have been in Ohara and had just celebrated her eighth birthday, here on the Grand Line.

When Robin reached Olvia, her small face showed timidity, and her eyes were filled with tears. She called out, "Mom, is that you? I'm Robin!"

Olvia trembled all over. Hearing Robin's voice and recognizing her daughter, she covered her mouth, her eyes also filling with tears. "Robin... Robin?"

As she spoke, Olvia reached out to touch Robin's face. Once they confirmed each other's identities, they couldn't hold back their emotions any longer.

"Mom! Robin misses you so much!" Robin cried, rushing into Olvia's arms.

"Robin!" Olvia opened her arms and hugged her daughter tightly.

Rob watched the reunion from a distance. He didn't step forward to disturb them, choosing instead to observe quietly. As he watched the heartwarming scene, some doubts arose in his mind.

From Olvia's emotional reaction, it was clear she loved and missed Robin deeply. Rob's powerful Observation Haki, which could sense people's hearts, confirmed this.

So, he wondered, what kind of mentality could allow Olvia, as a mother, to leave her two-year-old daughter behind and venture out to sea in search of historical information? Moreover, there were many pirates who abandoned their families to pursue the One Piece, disregarding the lives and futures of their loved ones. This choice was something Rob had never been able to understand.

Of course, in a world dominated by dreams, passion, and ambition, the practice of abandoning everything to pursue one's dreams was commonplace.

"Dreams do matter," Rob thought as he watched Olvia and Robin cry with joy. "But I think... the people who should be cherished by my side are more important!"

The different environments in their world and his own upbringing had led Rob to make choices that often differed from those of most people in this world.

Capítulo 16: 16. Rob's Choice For Olvia!

"Robin!"

After the joy of reunion, Olvia looked at Robin with worry on her face. "Shouldn't you be in Ohara? Why did you come to Jaya Island? This is a very dangerous place on the Grand Line! Why did Dr. Clover let you go out to sea and come here alone?"

After wiping the tears from her face, Robin smiled. "No! I didn't come here alone. Oni-chan brought me here! He's very powerful. Those pirates and villains are no match for him. Moreover, he also knows navigation, medical skills, and how to repair the ship!"

Hearing Robin's words, Olvia froze for a moment. "Robin, who is this 'Oni-chan' you're talking about?"

Before Robin could respond, Rob walked over, seeing that the emotions of the mother and daughter had stabilized. "Auntie, my name is Rob. I promised to bring Robin to you. Please forgive my assumption, but Robin's life in Ohara hasn't been good these past years, so I brought her to you."

Olvia looked at Rob, who was slightly taller than Robin and about 1.2 meters tall. She froze again, unsure of what to say.

She had expected the "Oni-chan" Robin mentioned to be an adult, not a little boy about the same age as her daughter! Though the boy's tone and expression revealed a sense of maturity, he was still a child.

The fact that the two of them had managed to sail safely from Ohara to the Grand Line seemed either incredibly lucky or a testament to real skill.

"The two of you sailed to the Grand Line?" Olvia, still a little shocked, looked at Rob and Robin in disbelief.

Rob nodded, looking calm. "We have our own sailboat. It's not big, but it's enough for sailing. And don't underestimate me because of my age... I'm very strong! At least a bit stronger than you might imagine, auntie."

While talking, Rob raised his hand, making a small gesture with his thumb and index finger to indicate "a little bit."

Olvia was momentarily speechless, unsure how to respond. Silence, however, lasted only a moment. The three of them soon began chatting again. After learning a little about Robin's life with her uncle, Olvia's face showed distress and self-blame.

Although she had left Robin initially to explore the historical texts for her husband's last wish and her own dream, her concern for her daughter was genuine. She had left all her property in Ohara with her brother to ensure they took good care of Robin, but she never expected Robin's life would be so difficult!

If it hadn't been for Rob, she couldn't imagine how much suffering Robin would have endured.

"Rob!" Holding Robin tightly, Olvia looked at Rob with gratitude. "Thank you for taking care of my daughter for so long, and thank you for bringing her to me!"

Rob smiled, his eyes always calm.

"You're welcome! Auntie, Robin means a lot to me. As long as I can do something for her, I'm willing to do it!" Rob paused, glancing around at the people in the hotel lobby, then turned back to Olvia. "Auntie, would you like to come aboard the boat with me and Robin? I have some questions I'd like to ask you."

Hearing Rob's words, Robin looked at her mother expectantly, eager to show Olvia how capable her brother was.

Olvia froze for a moment but then nodded immediately. "Good!"

The three of them left the hotel and went to the port, where they returned to the small sailboat shortly after. Olvia, led by an excited Robin, got a good understanding of the sailboat and Robin's living quarters. After seeing that the two little ones were indeed living well, Olvia felt relieved.

Moreover, she was somewhat embarrassed to realize that Rob seemed to care for Robin more competently than she did as a mother.

While the mother and daughter were chatting and exploring, Rob lit a fire to cook, preparing a simple but delicious meal. He then asked Robin to bring Olvia to sit down for dinner.

During the meal, Rob looked at Olvia and asked, "Auntie, is your expedition team from Ohara strong enough to protect Robin while exploring history? Or will you choose to find someone to take care of Robin?"

Before Olvia could answer, the smart Robin, who had already had some small suspicions, suddenly looked anxious at the mention of possible separation. "Oni-chan..."

Rob smiled calmly at Robin. "Robin, let's wait until I finish talking with Auntie, okay?"

Robin nodded, though her little face showed her discontent.

Seeing the interaction between the two, Olvia felt a mix of emotions. Compared to her, Robin clearly trusted and listened to Rob more, giving Olvia the impression that her daughter had been taken away by the boy in front of her.

Nevertheless, despite her sadness, Olvia couldn't express her emotions fully. After all, her choices had led to this situation. Instead, she felt grateful that Robin had someone like Rob during her childhood.
