"Kamiyo Tetsuya!"
In the classroom, Iruka roared angrily. "What the hell are you trying to do? In this exam, your score is only higher than Naruto and Kiba! And what exactly are you writing?"
Iruka waved the paper in his hand, spitting in frustration. The students sitting in the front row sighed, feeling the brunt of his wrath.
Tetsuya, who was whispering while holding Hinata's small hand, looked up, slightly amused by Iruka's outburst. "Teacher, I think my answers are fine."
"Fine? Let's see what you wrote for everyone to judge." Iruka held up Tetsuya's paper and read aloud. "May I ask how Chakra came about? Tetsuya answered: 'It's handed down from Sage of Six Paths.'"
The whole class burst into laughter. Iruka went red with rage. "That's a legend! Do you believe in legends?"
"Of course I do. Since it is a legend, it must have some basis," Tetsuya replied nonchalantly.
Iruka continued, "The second question, I asked you to calculate the parabola of a shuriken. Why did you draw a straight line?"
Tetsuya straightened up, full of confidence. "If I throw it like this, I will definitely hit the enemy!"
Even Shikamaru couldn't help but admire Tetsuya's audacity. The class was thoroughly entertained by his unconventional answers.
Next, Iruka read more of Tetsuya's bizarre responses. When asked how to sneak into the target area to complete an assassination, Tetsuya wrote: 'Kill everyone who sees me.' When asked what to do if Chakra runs out, Tetsuya answered: 'It's impossible because I can't run out of Chakra.'
The paper was a parade of unconventional thinking, leaving Iruka both exasperated and helpless. "Forget it, Tetsuya. Next time, follow the answers I give in class," he warned.
Tetsuya shrugged. "Sure thing, Sensei."
Iruka sighed. "Alright, it's been three years since you all joined the ninja school. The school has decided to conduct a simulated combat exercise. Let's head to the playground."
The students buzzed with excitement, eager for their first taste of real action. At the training ground, Tetsuya leaned in to Hinata, "Hinata, don't hold back. If you get hurt, I'll be angry."
Hinata nodded, determined. "I understand, Tetsuya."
Iruka took out the roster and started pairing students for the matches. "Akimichi Chōji vs. Yamanaka Ino!"
Chōji and Ino exchanged glances. Chōji, ever the gentle giant, surrendered after a few casual moves, not wanting to hurt his friend. Iruka sighed and called the next pair. "Hyūga Hinata vs. Haruno Sakura!"
Tetsuya leaned forward, excited. "Hinata, show me your progress! Give it your all!"
Hinata, emboldened by Tetsuya's encouragement, nodded firmly. She faced Sakura with newfound confidence. Despite Sakura's attempts, Hinata's refined Hyūga taijutsu quickly overpowered her, and Sakura was soon knocked out of the ring.
"Nice job, Hinata!" Tetsuya gave her a thumbs up, proud of her performance.
Hinata smiled back, her confidence bolstered by his praise. Shikamaru, observing the interaction, asked, "Tetsuya, why do you seem to dislike Sakura so much?"
Tetsuya shrugged. "I just don't like her."
Shikamaru chuckled, shaking his head. "Fair enough."
The matches continued, mostly physical skirmishes as the students hadn't yet learned advanced ninjutsu. After Naruto lost to Kiba, Iruka finally called out the next pairing.
"Kamiyo Tetsuya and Uchiha Sasuke!"
In an instant, Sasuke's eyes lit up. He leaped to the ring, full of determination. "Kamiyo Tetsuya, come up and fight! I'm going to use you to prove that I'm the best!"
Tetsuya calmly stepped into the ring, meeting Sasuke's intense gaze. The crowd fell silent, anticipating a thrilling match between the two prodigies.
Sasuke smirked, his Sharingan flickering. "I'm going to show everyone that I'm the top student here."
Tetsuya remained unfazed. "Let's see if you can back up those words, Sasuke."
The two faced off, the air thick with tension. The entire class watched in rapt attention, knowing this fight would be unlike any they had seen before.
