Capítulo 10: You will rot in jail
Xu Chenyao continued supplying madam Novikov with herbal medicine and and herbal food throughout the week.
But the last day of the week, after she had finished administering the herbal medicine and food.
She had failed to notice how madam Novikov condition had grown worst before leaving.
Ilya was cleaning her face when things changed for the worst, she kept coughing blood and it wouldn't stop.
"Ilya....there's something I must tell you, I've been saving my strength for whenever this day comes and I must tell you what's been on my mind for years..."
Madam Novikov grip on Ilya's shirt tightened as she tried to stabilize her breathing.
"Thank you, thank you for taking care for me all this years. I've made you suffer too, you had to give up a lot of things to take care of me, I'm sorry."
Hinata spurted out more blood as Ilya slowly watched his mother die in despair.
"Forgive me for not being a better mother, I've been sick my whole life, being able to have you and you being healthy was my greatest achievement. And I hope your children will be healthy as well.."
Hinata sighed as she looked away from Ilya.
Her time had finally come, she had been waiting for this day for a long time.
Hopefully she would go to a place where she would be healthy forever.
"Live well Ilya, live for yourself now....I-I can n-no lon...ger h-hold you back..."
Hinata coughed one last time and her grip on Ilya's shirt loosened.
"Mum? Mum?"
Ilya finally reacted reaching to touch her hand, his eyes widened her body was already feeling cold to the touch.
He slowly leaned back as his eyes watered, he always thought she would fight it everytime but this time she was ready to die.
Whenever the doctors said she won't live past a week, she always did live past the week but why this time different.
He stared at the flask and his eyes reddened, that damn doctor she must have done something to the medicine.
He stood up from the room as he walked out of the house angrily.

"You killed my mother.."
Xu Chenyao eyes widened as she struggled for her dear life, she stared at Ilya who had his hand wrapped around her neck.
"I didn't...do anything, I-I told you she wouldn't live past a week.."
Ilya hissed all the doctors said the same thing, why was her's different.
"She always lived past a week!"
Ilya flung her making her land with her back hitting the wall.
Xu Chenyao gasped for air, the impact had caused to lose her breath. She struggled to stand up, her stamina amounted to nothing in the face of Ilya's strength.
"Are you going to kill me?"
Xu Chenyao managed to say as she touched her chest, she had broken a rib as well.
"Should I kill you as well? But I doubt you'd go to heaven to apologize to my dear mother. I'll make sure you rot in jail.."
Xu Chenyao eyes widened, she should never had offered to help Renji. Who knew he would turn out to be a jerk.
Xu Chenyao found herself in jail hours later, she had been there for only 2 hours but her eyes had seen many things, things she wished she could forget.
"Say what was your offense again?"
"I killed his mother apparently.."
Xu Chenyao who crouched in the corner answered, she had already been beaten twice since she got there, they were too many in the room and they were expert fighters. She couldn't handle all of them by herself.
"Haha was he your boyfriend or something? Or did she try to stop your marriage?"
"I was her doctor.."
"Ah what a nice plot twist.."
The black haired woman who was the leader in the room chuckled, one look at Xu Chenyao she could tell she had lived a good life.
"We have some rules here.."
She smiled stroking the head of another woman who laid on her laps.
"You must get a tattoo, you only speak when you're told too and you must obey every word I say.."
Xu Chenyao eyes darkened, a tattoo would be a stain to her perfect skin and speak when you're told too? She wasn't a dog.
"I refuse.."
The black haired woman's eye twitched as she stared at Xu Chenyao, she rose to her feet as she walked closer to her.
"What did you just say? I didn't hear you the first time.."
"I said I REFUSE!"
The woman raised her hand to give Xu Chenyao a slap but she caught it, after being beaten twice, Xu Chenyao had gotten used to their attacks.
"You little bitch!.."
The rest inmates watched as Xu Chenyao and the black haired woman fought.
"You're slowly down Feiya? You can't fight anymore?"
Xu Chenyao had gained the upper hand quickly and grabbed Feiya by the neck.
"I'm very, very angry right now, so if you know what's good for you...stay out of my way.."
She flung Feiya to the side and walked to the beds, she searched for the best bed and asked whosoever was on it to get down.
"If ANY of you try to get in my way, I'll punch the living daylight out of you.."
Xu Chenyao sighed as she touched her rib, it hurt even more after being smashed by Feiya a few times.
She hissed, when she got out of here she would definitely make Renji pay!

"Here are her test results CEO Novikov, she only had water and herbal food which was not harmful to her body before her death.."
Water??
What about the herbal medicine that woman made?
"No traces of herbal medicine?"
The doctor shook his head, they only found water and herbal food, it had only been a day since her death. She wouldn't possibly have eaten anything else.
"I see..."
Ilya's clenched the test result as he left the doctor's office.
What kind of game was Xu Chenyao playing?
He hissed as he got into the elevator, his expression darkening by the minute.
