Naruto simply zoned her out as she continued to talk about her likes, dislikes, and her goal of becoming Hokage someday. He ignored her completely, even destroying the air carrying her voice to his ears with his power, just so he wouldn't have to hear her. Finally, it was Sai's turn to speak, and he told them about his likes and goals of becoming the Anbu General or something like that. The whole introduction session was over, and Naruto seriously wanted to destroy something when Sakura's screeching voice reached his ears. He had to use his power to destroy a large portion of the air coming from her direction to tame the volume of her voice.
Sakura said something about liking the village and wanting to protect it. Naruto thought she was definitely a weirdo. He looked towards his team as they all stared at him expectantly. "Well, my name is Naruto. My likes? Well, that's a secret. My dislikes? I hate banshees. On the other hand, I like strong opponents. Weakness is definitely something I hate."
Everyone was looking at Naruto, and Yamato was wondering who this kid actually was. Meanwhile, Kushina was pondering what she should teach him. After all, he was now the heir for the moment, especially after Jiraiya and Minato had trained him. She had even started teaching them about sealing arts, subduing opponents stronger than themselves, and the Rasengan. Kushina's main focus was to teach Naruto manners and how he should act with dignity. They had decided to put Naruto into the side branch so he could serve his siblings for the greater purpose when the time came. When he married the Fire Daimyo's daughter, it would bring the Namikaze and Uzumaki Clans to even greater heights. Meenma would be the clan head, and Naruto would be a side member and part of the royal family, which would bring prestige and authority to the Namikaze clan in the Fire Daimyo's court. This was a perfect plan devised by Meenma and Naruko.
Kushina was there mainly to teach Naruto manners and ensure he respected authority. She knew what happened in the past was bad for Naruto, but she believed he had to accept it for the good of the village and move on. When the time came, he should accept the authority of his betters. She nodded to herself while Naruto saw right through her intentions. To him, she was nothing. He knew she was there to keep an eye on him and monitor his techniques to pass on to Meenma and Naruko when the time came. These special training sessions were also for that purpose. He inwardly scoffed at that.
Sakura started screeching again about not being on Sasuke's team. Naruto destroyed the air carrying her voice to his ears, not wanting to hear her screeching. Yamato finally spoke up, "Alright, you guys are not a team just yet. You have to pass a test tomorrow, so come to training ground 12 and do not eat breakfast." After saying that, he and Kushina disappeared with a shunshin.
Naruto vanished as well, not wanting to deal with these annoyances. Sakura once again looked in the direction where he had been and screeched. Naruto had to destroy the air again as he simply could not believe it.
Naruto wondered how far a screech could actually carry. Was it a new genjutsu technique or something like that? Meanwhile, Yamato arrived and gave his report on his new team, including the plan to test them tomorrow. After his report, Yamato left, and Minato turned to Kushina.
"Kushina, it's just the first day. Tomorrow, we'll see what he's truly hiding from us," Minato said.
Kushina nodded. "You have to keep an eye on him. When the time comes, we will have another match. I'll be training Menma and Naruko in the secret arts and sealing techniques. If worse comes to worst, we should be able to seal off his chakra and defeat him. We also need to teach him manners for when he becomes a side member of the Namikaze Clan and marries the Fire Daimyo's daughter. This way, Menma and Naruko will have authority over Naruto, and we will have authority over the Fire Daimyo's court. This is a mission you cannot fail, Kushina."
"Don't worry about it," Kushina replied. "I know what's best for Konoha. Naruto is not fit to be the heir."
Jiraiya nodded in agreement. "I'm glad you see it that way, Kushina."
Kushina nodded and left. Minato then discussed the future training regime and plans, including summoning the toads and other related techniques. "Jiraiya, you know about the toads and everything else."
Jiraiya shrugged. "Who cares?"
