Since the age of nine, the only change in Cassian's stats was when he awakened his Legacy skill, which made his body stronger and better. Well, I still look like a person deprived of food and nourishment. I took a deep breath.

"No problem." I took the box from Alfred and then spoke with some hesitation.

"I'm sorry for how I treated you before." I closed the door after that and didn't pay much attention to his teary eyes.

"Why did he ask for this?" I took the sharp scalpel that former Cassian used to commit suicide and used it to open the box.

There was a white sheet of paper on top.The words on it were unbelievable.

"Is this my phone?" I picked up the black phone with some hesitation. It wasn't the newest- I hadn't made it a point to change it yearly- but it wasn't old either. I held it in my hand, and for some reason, it felt comfortable.

However, when I entered the password, I didn't see the familiar screen; instead, I noticed something else. It is an entirely black screen, with only three applications on it.

<Files>, <Contacts>. And that game, <Ether World>. The game opened automatically without me clicking, and words were written in large print on the screen.

I won't bother reading anymore. All of these tasks are so stupid that I never thought about actually doing them even for a moment. Well, something logical, at least. I sighed. It seemed like staying in this room any longer was becoming impossible. I will not waste this opportunity by obtaining a random art or skill. I already have a martial art in mind and want to receive it.

This mission only seems like an incentive. Unfortunately, this world is devoid of easy and peaceful things. I will not get art from pulling a tree root, entering a tunnel, or from a conversation with a tree. I'd go through hell to get it, and it's not like Loana would let me take a powerful item to protect myself.

My status in the family is terrible. The only way to save myself is to gain strength. I bet some people on the family council are starting to abandon me already.

'Everything is bad... Everything is bad...' I need at least something to fight with. Even though I have a <Monster Form>, it does not help in fights. Aside from the slight strength boost it provided when I got it, its only benefit was increasing my height and hair length.
