Capítulo 15: CHAPTER FIFTEEN: ANCIENT CURSE.

 AGATHA'S POV

I rushed into the kingdom in search of Caspian, my heart beating louder than the bell for war.

I found Caspian standing outside of my chamber for safety, so I promptly ran towards him.

"We need to leave now," I blurted out, scared of wasting any more time.

"Is something wrong, Lady Agatha?" Caspain calmly asked.

"We don't have time for this, get us out of this kingdom immediately," I commanded in fury.

"Where is Queen Lunaria?" Caspain asked in worry.

"She's standing guard outside the kingdom," I announced.

"Yes, my lady, this way," he responded, directing me out of the kingdom.

We got out of the kingdom and Lunaria quickly rushed forward.

"Your grace," Caspain greeted with a bow.

"Where do we go from here?" Lunaria asked.

"I will get three horses, your grace," Caspain declared.

"And how would you do that without getting caught?" Lunaria asked, pulling him back.

"I don't know, but I will try," Caspian responded, walking towards the stable.

Soon, he was back with three horses and we sneaked out of the kingdom.

"Your grace, I think I deserve to know why we are running away from the kingdom. You refused earlier," Caspian asked, out of the blue.

"Drop the formalities, we are no longer in the kingdom. I figured you would ask sooner or later, I just don't know if I can trust you," I responded with a smile.

"Of Course my lady, you can trust me. What am I protecting you from?" Caspian stated.

"Drystan, he seems to be more dangerous than we predicted. Although I still feel there's more to him that we don't know yet, I don't know how to find out," I blurted out truthfully.

"Look!" Lunaria yelled out, breaking our conversation.

"They are guards from the kingdom, quickly hide," Caspain announced.

Immediately, we rode into the woods nearby to hide behind the trees, as thousands of soldiers from the kingdom rode by the empty street.

"They seem to have realized you are missing, that was fast I must compliment," Caspain whispered under his breath.

"So what do we do?" I asked in fright.

"We go deep into the forest to hide for now," Caspain replied sharply.

I puffed out a frustrated sigh as we mounted down the thick, dark, scary, forest.

"I'm tired," Lunaria announced.

"Your grace, we can rest here for a while," Caspain replied with a nod.

"No, it's not safe," I protested in fear.

"There's no place safer than here, my lady. I will stand watch tonight," Caspian replied with a smile.

Promptly, Lunaria jumped down from the horse with a tired groan, tied the horse to a tree, and proceeded to rest.

"Really?" I asked in shock.

"C'mon Agatha, we need to be alive to fight don't we?" Lunaria disagreed with a smile.

I stared at her smiling face, she was the happy type, taking all the pain like it never happened.

"Wait," Caspian commanded.

I froze in fear.

"Who?" I murmured.

"Who's there?" Caspian yelled, dragging out his sword in preparation for a fight.

I dragged Lunaria closer to myself for safety, while Caspain went closer to survey the area.

"I knew it wasn't safe," I whispered in disappointment.

"Shhh," Lunaria scolded with a smirk.

Soon, an average older woman came out from behind the trees.

"Tempestina! What the hell are you doing here?" Lunaria yelled out.

"I have been following you, from the Priest to the kingdom and here," Tempestina confessed.

"You are Drystan's mother," I said in shock.

"Yes, Lady Agatha, I haven't met you officially yet," Tempestina responded with a smile.

"You bastard, you poisoned my son," Lunaria yelled, launching at Tempestina in fury.

Caspian quickly rushed forward to stop her.

"Easy your grace," Caspian murmured in protection of Lunaria.

"Kethan was meant to die, that was the only way the prophecy would come true. I was only helping," Tempestina defended.

"We don't need your help," Lunaria protested.

"Mother…please," I cautioned.

"What do you want with us, your grace?" I asked in defense.

"I know you went to see the Priest, I know who you are and I also know you don't know all you need to know about Drystan. I'm here to help," Tempestina negotiated.

"And we are supposed to foolishly believe that you are here to happily betray your beloved son," Lunaria retorted.

"Mother please," I pleaded, staring at Lunaria.

"Yes he's my son, he has been for 500 years and more. But I won't let him destroy the world like he selfishly desires for his hunger for revenge," Tempestina responded.

"She's bluffing," Lunaria retorted.

"Tell us more," I declared, avoiding Lunaria's threatening glance. I needed to know about Drystan.

"I will if you accept to take me with you," Tempestina declared.

"No!" Lunaria disagreed.

"Okay, that's fine. As long as you don't cause any fight with my mother," I cautioned and she quickly nodded in acceptance.

"Agatha!" Lunaria threatened.

"Mother, we need information," I responded, pouting.

"Okay, go on…tell us everything you know," I demanded.

"Centuries ago, there reigned a cursed man named Lysander. He was cursed with a plague by an ancient witch, his wife. Wherever he went, get infected, and gradually people in kingdoms were dying. Lysander could not control this plague, wherever he went, whoever he touched, died."

"Soon, everyone became frustrated and alarmed, so the kingdoms joined forces together and visited the great priest. There, they discovered that Lysander was the cursed carrier and problem of the land, so he was brutally burnt to ashes. This ash was buried, to never get in contact with any human again," Tempestina announced.

"I still don't understand any of this. So what does this blurry story have to do with Drystan," I asked, facing Tempestina in impatience.

"Drystan is his son, Drystan Lysander."
