"Are you really planning Hunter's engagement?" she interrupted impatiently.

Although she was still mad at him, she knew she couldn't avoid him since they were stuck under the same roof with each other so the best she could do was push aside what had happened and focus on what was most important to her.

"Yes," Hunter said, amused by how serious she was when it involved her scam.

"Come sit down and tell me about it," she said and stepped out of the room dressed in a sweatpants and tank top.

She had been caught unaware enough by him to know that she couldn't wear any revealing clothes as long as he was in the house.

Hunter paused, taken aback by the request. "You want to talk to me now? You're no longer mad?" he asked cautiously.
