Capítulo 10: Gifts, Pranks, and Souvenirs

"I decided what I want for my birthday," Harry said, finally breaking character, "I want the invisibility cloak."

Everyone suddenly focused on him, causing him to fidget for a few seconds.

"Sure," James smirked, "IF you can convince your mom, it's yours, though then you would either have to share it with your brother."

"I already told him, I'm not accepting half a present, the only way would be if you agreed to let me dismantle it," Aaron refuted.

"What is with you and dismantling stuff," Lily asked for the thousandth time.

"It's fun, and I get to learn how the objects are made, though I probably won't do that to the cloak IF I get my present," Aaron replied.

"I don't want you guys sneaking around Hogwarts, like James and Siri used to, no cloak, end of discussion," said Lily.

Aaron rolled his eyes, "Do you think we won't be able to sneak around without the cloak?" saying that, he started morphing until he looked like Dumbledore, "I can walk around looking like the headmaster, and no one will even look at me twice," he morphed again, this time looking like his sister, "I also can look like anyone of the other students," morphing into Flitwick, "or faculty," returning to his appearance, "I will be able to get around easily enough, and so can Harry, and we won't be the ones getting in trouble."

Seeing this, the marauders looked like they were drooling, "I could've escaped so many detentions with that ability," said Sirius, "I know, right!? It's just cheating," James continued.

"Well, excuse me for being gifted beyond you plebeians," Aaron replied.

"Excuse me, Who are you calling a plebian," Sirius mock gasped.

"The people who needed a whole map with the location of everyone on it to get away with pranks, and still got caught, AND lost the map," Aaron continued.

"Ok young man, stop talking to your dad like that," Lily said trying to hold herself back from grinning.

"I'm not talking to my dad, I'm talking to the marauders, and telling them the new kings are here, and they need to bow to our majesty, I mean we are repeating practically the same prank on Dad, and it still works on him, isn't that worthy of applause?"

"Can we get back to my cloak? Also, challenging Aaron on this subject is asking to get hurt, you all know how all in he goes. Last year, he recreated the attack from 10 years ago, just because Dad said his pranks were boring," Harry interjected, trying to defuse the situation, "You don't want him to do something worse, do you?"

"Fine, fine, I still think it's not a good prank if you almost get your head blown off by your mother," James shuddered at the memories of last year.

"Oh, but you're forgetting something, Dad, it's exactly because of that, that I got away scot-free," Aaron smirked.

"Damn it, he's right," Lily realized, a year too late.

"Now give the cloak to Harry, 'cause at least that way, we won't be making too much trouble by transforming into Dumbledore and snogging the suits of armor."

Sirius's jaw dropped, "I would love to see that, but I think Minerva will have a heart attack if that happens," he snickered.

James looked at Lily, after a few seconds of communicating, they decided that giving Harry the cloak would create less trouble.

"Alright, he can have the cloak, and as a punishment for what you did last year, you won't be getting a birthday gift this time," Lily smirked, only for Aaron to grin.

"That's fine, I'm sure I can soothe my sorrows by teaching Rose a few new pranks, that way you won't miss me when I go to school, for a whole nine months."

"How am I the childish one exactly?" Harry asked his brother.

"That's because I don't whine to get what I want, I make very logical arguments," Aaron replied.

"Wow, Aaron sure does take after you Lil," Remus finally spoke, "the way he talks reminds me of our school years, I've never seen you lose an argument."

"Yeah," Sirius agreed, "I guess Hogwarts is going to welcome a new prankster duo."

"Oh, the prankster duo are already there, and they are rumored to be even better than you," Aaron replied.

"Yeah? And who are these two?" Sirius asked curiously.

"The Weasley twins, Tonks, told us about them, and apparently, they are brilliant," Harry replied.

"And we are going to start-" "-a prank war with them," they said, causing the adults to shudder.

"No pranking the faculty," Lily warned them, "and don't you dare take it too far, your father learned that the hard way."

"Come on, that wasn't me, I was the one that saved his life." protested James.

"He was being nosy, I thought if he found out, he would tell everyone, and they would expel Remus," Sirius defended himself.

"You almost killed him, Siri, that's no excuse." Lily stood her ground.

"Fine Mom, we'll try not to take it too far," Aaron promised.

James stood up, and Lily went back to the kitchen, leaving the twins alone with Sirius and Remus.

"So Aaron, I heard you almost gave old man Ollivander a heart attack," Sirius asked.

"I can't help it if I'm excellent, but to be fair, Harry would have elicited a similar reaction from most wands if they remotely matched his personality, I just have a more complex personality, which is why more wands are suitable for me, and apparently why Hawthorne was a perfect match."

"Step down from your throne of pride, Your Majesty, I used to change your diapers and let me tell you, it wasn't gold or rainbows that came out of you," Sirius said.

"Well you would know about gold and rainbows, so fine, how was Paris by the way," Aaron changed the subject.

"Ooh, wine and cheese with Remy, we almost bought a house and moved there. The atmosphere was great. If it wasn't because of you guys, we wouldn't have come back," said Sirius.

"Well, we're happy for you, did you bring any souvenirs?" Harry asked.

"And they reveal their true intentions," Remus smirked, "yes we did bring you a few things, but you have to wait for your mom to be back, if I give you another thing she doesn't approve of behind her back, she might wring my neck."

"What are you giving my children again, Remy," Lily appeared out of nowhere.

"I was just telling them that I would only give it to them if you approved, so reign in the baleful aura," Remus leaned back, hiding himself behind Sirius.

"Lil, chill out, we got both of them a bunch of stuff, none of them dangerous, at least not to the kids, Harry's gifts are mostly muggle gadgets enchanted to work in magical places, and we are giving Aaron a bunch of enchanted stuff for him to dismantle, and most of them barely work," Sirius explained.

"Alright then, let's see what you got, Siri."

Sirius summoned a backpack, he gave the bag to Aaron.

Aaron opened the zipper, and held the bag upside down, causing everything inside to tumble out.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you, the bag has an expansion charm on it." Sirius said, "It's also part of the gift."

"You can have this one, Harry," Aaron said, throwing the bag to Harry, "you'll just have to carry some of my things sometimes."

"You're the 'big brother' shouldn't you help your baby brother?" he said with air quotes, changing into a small version of himself.

"I think you should change back, you are in extreme danger right now," Aaron pointed at something behind Harry, prompting him to turn around, only to see his mom, with stars in her eyes, slowly reaching her hands trying to pick up Harry.

"Damn, I forgot the pinch monster is here," Harry said, changing back to his original form.

"The pinch monster?" Lily looked offended at that comment.

Aaron giggled under his breath, "Hehe, yeah, we used to call you that when we were younger, cause you always picked us up, and squished our cheeks or pinched them, really hard, especially since you couldn't do it with Rose, cause she would instantly start crying."

Finally starting to separate the souvenirs, Aaron started dividing the muggle stuff from the array of odd enchanted objects, piling the radio, toaster, telephone, and bunch of other muggle Items he motioned to Harry to pack them up, and piling his Items in a separate pile, he helped harry put them in another one of the bag's compartments.

James walked into the room, with the cloak in his hand, prompting Lily to throw herself into his arms, "did you know they called me the pinch monster?"

"Pfff, no! But that's so accurate," James burst into laughter, which led to Lily punching his arm.

"Alright Harry, here you go, no you should remember, this is the oldest family heirloom we have, so don't let your brother destroy it," James warned Harry, shooting a glare at Aaron.

"I just opened up a broom, you don't have to be dramatic about it," Aaron rolled his eyes.

"It was signed by the champion team of the 1985 World Cup," James glared again.

"Yeah, sure, whatever," Aaron rolled his eyes again.

"It was worth five thousand galleons," James replied.

"Dad, stop, you are never winning this argument," said Harry, taking the cloak from his dad, he led his brother to their room.

Closing the bedroom door, he put away the backpack and lay the invisibility cloak on his bed.

"What should I do now?"
