As Batman prepared to head to the lowest level, a voice called out to him.
"Are you Batman?"
It was a guard, looking at the Dark Knight with a bewildered expression.
"How did you recognize me?"
Batman looked at him, puzzled. His current appearance was completely different from usual.
"I didn't think it was you at first, but when I saw that big bat, I figured it had to be. Batman really does keep bats."
The guard looked at Batman with a shocked expression.
"Uh-huh."
Batman shook his head helplessly and walked away. It seemed Gotham would have another urban legend about him.
Entering the mirror world, Batman directly smashed through the building floors, heading to the next level, saving time.
"Such a powerful attack should have significant recoil, but I don't feel it at all. What is this armor made of? I'll have to find a way to study it later and see if it can be mass-produced."
Batman, being a professor with degrees in several scientific fields, couldn't help but get excited at the scholarly potential of this mysterious armor.
Upon reaching the lowest level of Arkham Asylum, he immediately observed the real world through a mirror.
He saw a very gruesome scene.
The hall was filled with corpses—guards and criminals alike.
Some of the criminal corpses were familiar faces to Batman.
Mad Hatter, Ventriloquist, Dr. Hugo Strange, and so on. As for Joker, Two-Face, and Riddler, they were nowhere to be seen yet.
Among the pile of bodies, several mimic beasts were walking around.
Strangely, they weren't eating the corpses.
Instead, they were dragging them to another area.
There, a few heavily pregnant mimic beasts lay, continuously eating the corpses brought to them.
"What's going on?"
Batman found this scene bizarre and watched more closely.
"Uuuuh!!"
A mimic beast let out a painful cry, its body arching backward.
"Could it be!"
Batman immediately realized what was happening.
The mimic beast's rear end spewed out several small red creatures.
These creatures landed, screaming loudly.
Upon closer inspection, they were miniature mimic beasts!
The pregnant mimic beasts were giving birth!
"Damn it! I can't let them continue breeding!"
Fortunately, Batman had discovered this in time. Even if he killed all the mimic beasts, the young ones could grow up later, causing more trouble.
Batman took out a card, already knowing how to deal with the situation.
He moved to a mirror that gave him a vantage point of the female mimic beasts and jumped out!
His appearance was so sudden that none of the mimic beasts noticed.
As soon as he landed, he swung his sword, decapitating a female mimic beast.
Before the others could react, he turned and pierced another's throat.
In a flash, he killed two mimic beasts.
"Roar!!"
The other mimic beasts finally reacted, attacking Batman.
"Confusion Vent."
Batman moved faster, reading the card.
The dark bat quickly flew out of the mirror world, emitting a deafening noise.
The sound was so unbearable that all the mimic beasts cowered, covering their ears to block the sonic waves.
Batman seized this opportunity, running towards the remaining female mimic beasts, swinging his sword repeatedly.
He decapitated each one!
With the female mimic beasts dead, they couldn't reproduce anymore!
"Roar!!"
As the dark bat's sonic interference ended, the male mimic beasts saw the females had been killed and roared in rage.
They charged at Batman.
But Batman was prepared. Holding a shattered mirror in his left hand, he placed it on the ground and jumped in.
His large frame passed through the mirror fragments into the mirror world.
Dodging the mimic beasts' attacks, he watched them collide.
Batman stood before a glass panel, observing the pile of mimic beasts in the real world.
"Good, stay together like that."
Batman pulled out a gold bat-emblazoned card and inserted it into the reader on his sword.
"Final Vent!"
In the next moment, the Dark Knight's specialized weapon, the Wing Lancer, appeared in his hand.
Simultaneously, the dark bat flew in from behind.
"Haah!"
Batman leaped with all his might.
The dark bat transformed into a black cloak on Batman's back, expanding and spinning in a spiral.
This was the Dark Knight's ultimate move—Flying Slash!
In the spinning cloak, Batman flew out of the mirror world, directly hitting the clustered mimic beasts.
The terrifying power shredded them into pieces with no resistance!
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
It wasn't over yet. Batman couldn't control this move, continuing forward, breaking through walls until he almost hit a support pillar.
Finally, he stopped, landing somewhat clumsily as the cloak returned to the dark bat.
"Screech!"
The dark bat, excited by the carnage, began feasting.
"Hey, don't eat the human corpses!"
Batman, feeling uncomfortable, reminded the bat.
The dark bat glared at Batman, then turned to eat only the mimic beast corpses.
"Seems it's not fully under my control."
Batman grew wary.
"Alfred, what's the situation now?"
"Sir, all the monsters in the asylum have been eliminated, but some people have escaped."
Hearing Alfred's report, Batman felt both relieved and concerned.
Tonight couldn't end like this.
"Congratulations, Bruce Wayne, for eliminating the invading mimic beasts. Now issuing rewards: three Survival Cards."
The electronic voice announced.
Three cards appeared in Batman's hand.
One depicted a golden bird, and the other two had wing symbols with wind and fire backgrounds.
"Survival Cards are exclusive to mirror world Kamen Riders. Using one transforms you into survival form, greatly enhancing your combat power. The strength increase limit is determined by the will to survive."

"The will to survive determines the power of the enhancement. Is this idealism?" Batman looked at the three Survival Cards in his hand with some confusion.
He was already strong in this form. What would happen if he used all three Survival Cards?
"Everyone, enter Arkham Asylum! Be careful of the monsters and criminals inside!"
At that moment, the shouts of the police came from above.
Batman immediately entered the mirror world and left the area.
After Batman left, two particularly small mimic beasts crawled up from the sewer's water flow.
They were newborn mimic beasts, one male and one female.
Having just been born, they playfully fell into the water flow, narrowly escaping death.
Their bloodthirsty eyes were filled with hatred as they looked at the bodies littering the ground. They let out a low growl before jumping into the water flow, their destination unknown.
The threat of the mimic beasts was not over.
However, the screen had already switched scenes, and no one was aware of this.
Tony Stark: "Hey, Bruce Wayne, your armor is cool. If you analyze it later, could you share the results here so I can study it too?"
Tony Stark: "Some parts of this armor look like clothing. It must be made of extraordinary materials and technology. It would be great to incorporate this into my Mark armor!"
Nick Fury: "If possible, I want it too. Such armor would be highly significant."
Bruce Wayne: "I'll discuss it when I get back. I'm not sure what I'll be able to analyze."
Tony Stark: "I'll be waiting for your good news. This combination of magic and technology is fascinating. It could significantly enhance human strength!"
Vegeta: "Heh, only useless fools rely on technology and armor."
Tony Stark: "What did you say!"
Vegeta: "Isn't it obvious? True warriors rely on their own strength. These toys are meaningless."
Goku: "Indeed, I've encountered high-tech things before, but they weren't very useful."
Diana: "I have to agree. I also believe in the power within oneself."
Thor: "That's right. Inner strength is the greatest power!"
Loki: "Brother, could you put down your hammer before you say that?"
Thor: "Hey! What do you mean by that? I'm the strongest even without the hammer. Besides, my hammer and I are one."
Barton: "How did we end up talking about hammers?"
Tony Stark: "Hmph, advancing technology is essential for the times! You'll all regret abandoning it sooner or later!"
Dan Moroboshi: "Well said. Technological advancement is necessary. Not everyone has great power, so we need such weapons."
Batman ignored the arguments on the screen, already having exited the mirror world and standing atop Arkham Asylum, looking down.
The place was now swarming with police.
"Hmm?"
Batman noticed something and looked ahead, seeing a figure on a distant rooftop that quickly disappeared.
"Did I see that right?"
Batman wondered, about to investigate, when the police communication system in his ear transmitted a conversation.
"Attention! The Joker is robbing Gotham Bank! Requesting immediate backup!"
Hearing about his old foe, the Joker, Batman's expression changed. He couldn't worry about the previous matter now and immediately leaped down.
Amid the exclamations, he jumped into the Batmobile and sped away.
In the Gotham night sky, a woman in a revealing armor, armed with a sword, was leaping between buildings.
It was Wonder Woman, Diana.
"I thought he might need help, but his performance exceeded my expectations. As expected of the Gotham Bat."
Diana spoke with some approval.
She then looked down at the dark alleys below.
In the many dark corners, various crimes were happening.
Drug dealing, robbery, assault, everything was there, spreading a rotting stench.
"No wonder Gotham is called the City of Crime. It's disgusting."
Diana, always hating evil, showed a strong look of disgust at the criminal activities below.
Brooklyn, Marvel World.
"The SCPs, the Unstoppable Cleaver and the mimic beast, have been contained. The host receives rewards: an Unstoppable Cleaver and the mimic beast's mimicry ability."
After the system's voice, a seemingly ordinary cleaver appeared on Ryner's table.
"Ah, they just gave it to me directly. And mimicry ability? Not impressive."
Ryner picked up the cleaver, feeling helpless. The voice he made was not his own but a deep middle-aged man's.
"Hopefully, I'll get a better reward next time."
Ryner threw the cleaver down disdainfully.
The screen's predictions continued.
"Predicting the next SCP: the Ocean Dread Beast." (SCP-1128)
Everyone's attention focused on the screen.
"The ocean is vast and more dangerous than the land. The number of SCPs lurking in the ocean far exceeds those on land. Many have explored the ocean, seeking its mysteries, but most ended up buried at sea."
After the narration, the screen showed a terrifying creature.
It was over fifty meters long, with a body resembling an octopus's tentacles covered in suckers. The tips of the tentacles looked like blades.
Its head resembled a magnified and elongated crow's head, with sharp beak and blood-red eyes, looking horrifying.
Coupled with the dark ocean background, the image made many feel uncomfortable.
"The Ocean Dread Beast lives in a specific ocean area, its exact location unknown. If you learn of its description, whether by hearing or seeing related photos, you will face terrible consequences."
"Initially, you will develop a fear of water. Once your body is fully submerged, you will be transported to the Ocean Dread Beast's location, hunted by it."
"Even if you escape the hunt and flee the area, it won't end."
"Over time, your fear of water will worsen. Even a glass of water nearby can draw you in, transporting you to the beast's location, until you're completely destroyed."
The screen then showed a lab-like place where two prisoners in uniforms were looking at a photo of the Ocean Dread Beast.
