[Day-5]
It was morning, and Kane was sleeping on a futon on the floor of Aurora's apartment when he heard the door open. He woke up, sat upright, and stretched his arms.
"Hey," said Aurora as she entered, holding shopping bags. She closed the door behind her.
"Hey, I didn't hear you leave," said Kane.
"Yeah, I went out to get you some daily necessities," Aurora replied, placing the bags on the table.
"Oh, thank you for that. But if I may ask, why are you going through all this trouble when you hardly know me?" asked Kane.
"We'll talk about it after breakfast. For now, take a shower, and I'll make something to eat in the meantime," said Aurora.
"Umm, okay, I guess," said Kane as he got out of the futon and tidied up where he slept.
"Oh, and I brought you some clothes. I don't know if they'll fit, but it's better than wearing a coat and scrubs," Aurora said as she began making pancakes.
