Seraphina watched Raven with different mixed emotions—gratitude, disbelief, and a quiet longing that she couldn't quite name.

She appreciated his dedication, but part of her wondered if he was overextending himself for her sake.

His presence was quite good to hear liking but there was always a question in her heart - Should he always be here with her? Should he stop working for her?

Seraphina quietly asked.

Raven responded with a confident nod, though Seraphina couldn't help but notice the subtle tension in his jaw; he was tired and tensed; after all, he had a big responsibility as a duke.

"Of course," he said, he was behaving normal but Seraphina sensed an undercurrent of something more—anxiety, perhaps? He was always so composed, always the one in control, but she knew him too well to miss the slight cracks in his armor.
