"That's… Sword Aura!?"

It wasn't only Emilia that reacted violently — everyone's mouths were extremely open as they stared at the seemingly solid form of lith in Lucian's hand. Some of them, even rubbed their eyes to see if they were seeing clearly or if there was just dirt in their eyes. But no matter how much they rubbed or wiped, the lith with the shape of a scalpel was still there.

Matthew, in particular, almost caused his eyes to dry out as he was in complete disbelief at what he was seeing.

Emilia, on the other hand, could not even hide the smile on her face — in truth, she actually already knew that Lucian was enrolled in the Academy and was even going to be in her class; she is, after all, one of the daughters of the Headmaster. She had already told her parents about Lucian, but they did not seem to be that interested at all since they hadn't seen him in person…

…but now, they would have no choice but to accept that Emilia truly found a prospect that could separate them from the rest of the Cultivator Academy.

But of course, perhaps the most intrigued out of everyone there was the instructor.

"Sword Aura…" The monotonous tone of the instructor's voice was completely gone; his hair which was as long as Lucian's, now even more disheveled than his as he carried a somewhat manic look on his face, "...Interesting, very interesting. It is completely unheard of for someone in the Spirit Infant rank to exhibit Sword Aura…

…is that something you have gained due to your experience, Mr. Lucian?"

"Sword Aura?" Lucian blinked a couple of times as he looked at the solid lith in his hand, "This is a scalpel, Mr. Instructor."

"You are really, really interesting…" The instructor then started licking his lips as his body started to sway, "...This makes this even more fun!"

And once again, the instructor rushed toward Lucian. This time, however, Lucian did not move at all or try to dodge; just letting himself be hit by the instructor's lith claws—no. The so-called Sword Aura dissipated from Lucian's hand; his lith, now crawling across his body to shield him from the instructor's attack.

"Ho…?" The instructor let out a small cackle as his attacks became faster and faster — and very soon, he even spun; kicking Lucian's head… and of course, using lith to extend his attack.

Lucian leaned away to dodge… and also covered his head with lith to protect himself. And before Lucian could straighten his body, the instructor waved both his hands at the same time; targeting different areas of Lucian's body.

This made no difference at all, however, as Lucian just calmly dodged one of the attacks, and then using his solid lith to block the other that he couldn't.

"T—That old man can't even fight back anymore! Ha…Haha!" Matthew let out a loud scream as he cheered for the instructor, "He's out of tricks, Teach! Finish him!"

"No…" Emilia shook her head and whispered as she had been watching Lucian's face since the start — and he had actually been looking at the instructor's fingers the entire time. And very soon, everyone realized why.

"Hm…" Lucian let out a small breath as the solid lith crawling across his body to protect him started to split up.

"!!!" Even the instructor seemed extremely shocked at this as he quickly leaped back to look at Rhys.

"That—!!!" Emilia could really only cover her mouth as she saw Lucian's lith crawling from his torso; separating and then moving to both his hands before ultimately surrounding his two index and middle fingers.

Sword Aura was called Sword Aura because it is an indication that one had already mastered both Lith control and their sword techniques; hence being able to just visualize that one was holding a sword, and materializing it with lith.

The instructor could shape his lith into claws because that is what he practiced his entire life — but Lucian…

…Lucian was able to form his lith into a different weapon? No, from its shape…

…it was the same as what the instructor was using.

"I feel my lith running out, Mr. Instructor," Lucian, of course, was completely oblivious to what he was doing as he finally moved from his spot and stepped toward the instructor; both his index fingers and middle fingers, extended.

"Ho…hohoho…" The instructor started shaking his head as a sinister smile crawled on his face, "...You're exceeding my expectations, Mr. Lucian!"

And with those words, he also rushed toward Lucian — this time, however, Lucian moved his arm a single millisecond after his… and poked him right beneath his armpit.

"!!!" The instructor could feel his arm instantly getting limp. But he did not mind at all as he swung his other hand — but as he did so, Lucian ducked down and then once again poked the spot beneath his arm — now effectively paralyzing both his arms in just two swift motions.

Lucian then moved away; just walking to the side while keeping his head down — and without even any hesitation, he poked the side of the instructor's body several times before moving onto his spine…

…completely paralyzing his entire body.

"Did—"

Before anyone could react or the instructor's body could fall to the ground, however, the instructor suddenly burst out into a fit of maniacal laughter. And as soon as he did so, everyone felt a weight crawling through their backs as the instructor started freeing up the lith he restricted.

The full blast of lith of a Spirit Master.

"What else are you hiding in that body of yours, Mr. Lucian!?" The instructor's body completely recovered as he canceled the restriction of his dantian; the smile on his face, even wider than before.

Lucian really only stared at him before once again raising his fingers; this time, aiming for the instructor's neck. But before he could actually even move, the instructor just suddenly appeared standing right in front of him — his hands, already on his chest.

And with just a single breath…

…Lucian found himself violently rolling across the ground and slamming his back on the wall.

"N…No! Mr. Lucian!" Emilia quickly leaped out of her seat and rushed toward Lucian.

As for the instructor, the smile on his face quickly faded away as soon as he realized what he had just done. His demeanor, once again returning to his usual lazy stance as he approached Lucian and Emilia…

…only to see Lucian completely knocked out and bleeding from his nose, ears, mouth, and eyes.

"I… Instructor, why would you do that!?" Emilia glared at the instructor, almost showing her teeth. The instructor, however, completely ignored her as he just moved closer to Lucian and very carefully lifted Lucian over his shoulder, "Wh—"

"Ms. Emilia, I need you to come with me to the clinic," the instructor then let out a small but very deep sigh while shaking his head, "It would seem…

…I got a little excited."
