"But that's…"

"Your Highness, the investigation is still necessary. No one shall insult the Royal Family's name openly and blatantly without paying the price. Besides, it's unreliable to only rely on his words," Louis interrupted Crown Prince Edward's words.

Even though Louis had long known that Crown Prince Edward was stupid, but he felt that he would still be a good king in the future. As for how he came to this conclusions?
