After hanging up the phone, I felt a sense of unease. I needed to confide in someone about Damian's threats. I decided to reach out to James, hoping he could offer some guidance and support.

I grabbed my phone and sent James a text, asking him to meet me at a nearby coffee shop. I couldn't shake off the feeling that Damian was watching me, waiting for his chance to strike.

At the coffee shop, I poured my heart out to James, telling him about the conversation with Damian. James listened intently, his expression growing more serious with each passing moment.

"We need to take this seriously," he said. "Damian's behavior is becoming increasingly erratic. We can't let him near Liam."

I nodded, feeling a sense of determination wash over me. "I'll do whatever it takes to keep my son safe."

James's expression softened. "I know you will. We'll face this together."
