Chapter 12: Flying Thunder God
"It's here."
Shishou arrived at the location of the Uchiha clan's Naka Shrine. He opened the secret passage and slipped inside.
Half an hour later, having successfully obtained the Uchiha clan's secret scrolls, Shishou reappeared outside the shrine and closed the entrance.
Back home, Shishou set aside his reaper mask and opened the acquired scrolls, quickly committing them to memory.

A week later, due to staying up late, Naruto couldn't find another seat and finally sat next to Shishou.

At noon, seeing Naruto sleeping on his desk, Shishourejoiced inwardly. He pretended to accidentally touch the sleeping Naruto. With the help of his three-tomoe Sharingan, Shishou smoothly entered Naruto's subconscious space where the Nine-Tails was sealed.
In a vast space, a large gate separated him from the Nine-Tails.
"Nine-Tails, do you want me to release you?"
Shishou smirked, kicking the gate's bars.

"Who's this brat?"
The Nine-Tails opened one eye, staring at Shishou. Shishou appeared very young, about seven years old, as he was during school.
"What? You don't want to be freed?"
Seeing the Nine-Tails's indifferent attitude, Shishou was puzzled. Was the Nine-Tails so used to being sealed that it didn't want to leave?
"Brat, you smell like an Uchiha. Get lost."
The Nine-Tails closed its eyes, ignoring Shishou.
So prideful?
Just because it disliked the Uchiha, it gave up the chance to escape?
"Tsk."
Shishou was merely teasing the Nine-Tails. Seeing it unresponsive, he lost interest. Walking to the gate, he reached for the sealing tag. The Nine-Tails quietly opened an eye, closely watching Shishou's actions, ready to break free if the tag was removed.
So, it does want to escape. Prideful indeed.
The Nine-Tails's actions were clear to Shishou's Sharingan. He sneered at the beast's stubborn pride.
In the end, as the Nine-Tails watched nervously, a hand stopped Shishou.
It was the Fourth Hokage—Minato Namikaze.
"Do you really intend to release the Nine-Tails?"
Seeing the blond-haired Hokage in his ceremonial robe, Shishou grinned, "Not really."
"If you hadn't shown up, I was about to leave."
This comment made the Nine-Tails grind its teeth in anger.
Damn Uchiha brat!
"So, you were looking for me," the Fourth Hokage said, quickly understanding Shishou's intent. He was curious how this boy knew of his presence.
"Fourth Hokage, I didn't expect you to be hiding here. Even I didn't know," Shishou said.
"Tell me, where did you hide my other half?" the Nine-Tails demanded, growing agitated upon seeing the Hokage. Its violent malice surged through the space, emitting a world-destroying aura.
Losing half its body had halved its power, fueling its hatred for the Fourth Hokage even more than for Madara Uchiha.
"Sorry, give me a moment," Minato said to Shishou. He formed a hand seal, transforming the gate into a solid wall, isolating the Nine-Tails.
Finished, Minato turned to Shishou, "How did you know I was here?"
