Shishou collapsed onto the ground after finishing his final set of push-ups.
Exercising was truly a painful ordeal. Other than someone as single-minded as Rock Lee, no one could endure it.
After more than a month of "enlightenment," the "kind animals" in the Konoha forest had become scarce. Unable to continue receiving feedback, Shishou had no choice but to resume his abandoned morning training.
After over a month of feedback, his physical condition had improved significantly. His chakra reserves were now comparable to those of Iruka, an adult "Genin." Additionally, Shishou's height had increased, making him half a head taller than Naruto and Sasuke.
Wiping off his sweat, Shishou headed to the family's insect breeding room to select a new mother insect for cultivation.

"From now on, Gaara won't be the only gourd boy in the ninja world. There will be two."

Satisfied with the sight of the Healing Insect transforming into a cocoon in the breeding space, Shishou then turned his attention to the caterpillar, now the size of a thumb. It wouldn't be long before it matured and could evolve again. The Phosphorus Destruction Insects in another breeding space had also grown massively, with their numbers now in the billions. However, they still hadn't met the system's requirements for evolution, necessitating further reproduction.
After feeding some chakra to the Parasite Insect in the gourd, Shishou grabbed his fishing gear and headed outside. It was the weekend, and the ninja school was on break, giving him a whole day to search for "kind animals."
Arriving at a large river in the Konoha forest, Shishou set traps and nets in the water, then used a fish spear to hunt for "kind fish." With land animals depleted, he now turned his attention to aquatic ones.
Fortunately, the forest's river, seldom visited by people, was home to many large fish. By noon, Shishou had caught over a dozen big fish, each weighing several kilograms, enough to cultivate the Phosphorus Destruction Insects to the quantity needed for evolution.
But Shishou didn't evolve them immediately. Instead, he continued catching fish, using the feedback from the Phosphorus Destruction Insects to charge the Insect Breeding Space. Once the space was sufficiently charged, he used the feedback chakra to cultivate the Parasite Insect in the gourd, only stopping once he had raised another mother insect, ready to evolve the Phosphorus Destruction Insects.

It seemed special enhancements weren't always available.
After a moment's thought, Shishou made his choice.
"Evolve 6."

Shishou smiled as he observed the Phosphorus Destruction Insects enter dormancy again.
They could now survive in the air for five minutes. This meant his Phosphorus Destruction Insects were no longer limited by distance and could be used in ranged combat. He could attach them to shuriken.
The very thought made Shishou shudder a bit.
Grabbing the remaining big fish, Shishou started heading back.
"Maybe I should practice my shuriken techniques..."
He mused as he walked.

"Sasuke, what do you want to eat today?"
"Rice with dried fish."
"Haha, Sasuke really likes dried fish rice."
"Yeah."
"You should hurry then. Your brother will be home for dinner today."
"Really? Let's hurry then..."
How happy they seem.
But the happier you are now, the more miserable you'll be later.
Carrying the fish, Shishou watched Uchiha Mikoto and Uchiha Sasuke walk away, shaking his head with pity. If he had the power, Shishou wouldn't mind saving the innocent members of the Uchiha clan.
"What a pity."
Turning his gaze from Mikoto's graceful figure, Shishou arrived at a fish shop and sold the big fish he had caught.
