In the East Blue, a certain sea area, on a small escape boat, Eden Ragnell, with a big bump on his head that looked like a large round hat from afar, was rowing with noticeable vigor.
Earlier, Nami had unleashed her fury upon him for an unintended assault, turning into a furious dragon and beating him senseless.
If it weren't for the imminent threat from the pursuing Navy, Eden might have been pounded beyond recognition.
People familiar with Luffy knew that he could mistake the real Zoro for a zombie Zoro. With Luffy's unique perception, it's hard to imagine how bad Eden looked after Nami's beating.
Recalling the scene where Nami's ears turned red, Eden sighed. He didn't need to guess to know that her face must have been flushed as well.

Eden had mentally cursed Luffy a thousand times over. If it weren't for that sudden slap, none of this would have happened.
Admittedly, Nami's chest felt nice to touch. It was a bit perverted, but it was Eden's honest thought. Even so, he hadn't meant to take advantage of Nami; it was all due to external circumstances.
As a result, Eden endured Nami's wrath. He couldn't blame Nami, who was also a victim, and since the one he wanted to hit the most wasn't there, he was left feeling incredibly frustrated.
Staring out at the vast sea, Eden had no choice but to keep rowing, with no outlet for his anger. Was he supposed to beat up Nami?
If Nami had hit him without reason, Eden would definitely retaliate, even if it meant knocking her away. Unfortunately, this time, Nami's violence was justified, and Eden was slightly at fault, leaving him no room to argue.
After Luffy's failed attempt to retrieve Eden, the gap between them widened, and they missed the opportunity to reunite. Eden found himself alone with Nami, rowing towards Shells Town where Nami sought the Grand Line navigation chart.
Glancing at Nami, who was sulking, Eden never imagined their first meeting would result in such a disgraceful incident.
On the day he met Nami, Eden experienced her terrifying fists firsthand, a memory that would stay with him forever. Unexpectedly, Nami's first words to him after the beating were only four: "One hundred million Berries!"
With her eyes exuding a cold glint, Nami addressed Eden, still catching his breath from the beating. Her tone was icy and filled with menace.
Seeing Nami's beautiful face flushed red, Eden couldn't tell if it was from the exertion of hitting him or from the embarrassment of being touched.
However, those words hit Eden's soft spot, making it impossible for him to stay mad at Nami. He remembered her backstory.
Others might not understand the significance of one hundred million Berries, but Eden, as a transmigrator, knew exactly what it meant to Nami.
A ten-year-old girl, over the next eight years, would risk her life countless times, stealing from ruthless pirates just to gather One hundred million Berries and save her loved ones.
A child who should be coddled by her parents was forced to steal to save lives. One hundred million Berries symbolized Nami's hope for the future.
Though Nami's words evoked Eden's sympathy, he wasn't foolish enough to admit he owed her a hundred million Berries for accidentally touching her chest.
"So, which direction should we head now?" Eden asked, looking around at the vast sea, realizing he had no idea where to go without Nami's guidance.
Under Nami's instructions, Eden had managed to evade the Navy's pursuit, showcasing her exceptional navigation skills and giving him a sense of accomplishment.
"Left!" Nami replied curtly, not even glancing at him.
Eden was relieved she wasn't speaking to him; it reduced the risk of further conflict.
Initially, Eden was upset about being separated from Luffy. Ideally, he should be with Luffy, heading to rescue Zoro and recruiting him. But now, he was with Nami, making him feel slightly out of place. However, he knew he'd eventually meet Luffy again.
With this thought, Eden didn't rush. After days of peaceful sailing, they finally reached Shells Town.
During the journey, their conversations were minimal, strictly about navigation. Nami's strange looks at Eden made him uneasy, wondering what she was thinking.
Despite sharing the small boat, they remained like strangers. Eden had adopted Luffy's carefree attitude, forgetting the chest incident, and focused on training.
"If you insist on demanding a hundred million Berries, I'll just ignore it," Eden thought, deciding to move past the incident and focus on his goals.
After tiring himself out with training, Eden would nap on the boat, occasionally waking up to find a blanket covering him. When he asked Nami about it, she ignored him, further adding to his confusion.
"Listen, we need to sneak into the Navy base and steal the Grand Line navigation chart," Nami whispered as they docked the boat, her proximity allowing Eden to catch a whiff of her scent.
"Wait, you said there's a Navy base here?" Eden asked, surprised.
"Yes. Don't tell me you're scared of the Navy?" Nami retorted, her eyes piercing into Eden.
"You mentioned 'weakling'. Is that your old nickname?" she added, catching Eden off guard.
Eden felt a wave of embarrassment. "No, forget it. Is there a man named Zoro imprisoned here?" he asked.
At that moment, a few passersby, overhearing the conversation, recoiled in fear, backing away several steps as if they'd seen a ghost.
"Idiot, don't mention Zoro's name here. Look at how scared you've made everyone," Nami scolded, then smiled sweetly at a nearby vendor. "We're just trying to find out if the captain here is Axe-Hand Morgan."
But upon hearing her question, the vendor and everyone around them fled in terror.
Nami's cheerful smile froze awkwardly on her face, causing Eden to stifle a laugh.
"Fool, you told me not to mention Zoro, but you scared everyone by mentioning Morgan," Eden thought, watching Nami's expression with amusement.
"Why are people so strange here? They fear Zoro, but they're even more terrified of the Navy captain," Nami mused, puzzled.
"Who knows? It's not our concern. Let's head to the base," Eden shrugged, urging Nami to move. He was eager to meet Zoro.
Once Zoro joined, Eden hoped Luffy wouldn't cause him any more trouble. With Zoro around, maybe Luffy would direct his antics elsewhere.
With that thought, Eden smiled happily. Seeing this, Nami felt a chill down her spine, raising her fist and shouting, "Stop smiling like that, you idiot!"
