"Hey! Apologize immediately," she demanded.
Everyone around drew closer, those who were interested, while others remained in their seats, enjoying their meal.
"Hey, I'm talking to you!" she barked again.
"Hm?" Williams turned to face the girl. "You're talking to me? What's the matter?" he asked, glancing at his food and then at her.
"You poured my food on the floor," she pointed at the mess.
"Me? Are you sure about that?" Williams asked, making everyone laugh, though his face showed he wasn't joking.
"Are you saying I'm blind?! You hit my hand and spilled my food, so apologize this instant!"
"Hmm, I don't know. My mother didn't teach me to apologize when I didn't do anything wrong," Williams said, rubbing his chin as he looked up.
"But you did…"
"How about taking mine instead?" Williams offered.
The girl glanced at his plate. It was already halfway finished. Her eyebrows knitted together, and her mouth turned downwards.
