Capítulo 14: [Chapter—14]
So we parked close to the Town Hall but not close enough that we would be seen before we went on foot guns pointed as we made it closer and closer until we saw the helicopter land.
" Alright then." I said with a grin as I strode towards the multiple umbrella operatives guarding the chopper.
Using telekinesis I floated a couple cars close besides me and then using [Matter State] I had them turn to liquid before using [Material Shaper] alongside [Telekinesis] I shaped the tons of metallic components into sharp swords.
' I should learn how guns are made when I get out of here.....' I thought with a sigh before focusing on the multiple umbrella operatives that suddenly turned back at me and raised their guns at me.
' Oh? Did they get tipped off?' I thought and smiled as they tried shooting their guns only to watch them turn into liquid sludge that started covering their bodies before solidifying.
I could finally use my abilities in a combat situation and not paying attention to the 4 operatives that shook and fell probably suffocating, I focused on the other operatives who became aware of me.
I firstly aimed one iron sword towards the roof of the City Hall building and using [Telekinesis] shot it at great speeds and watched it burrowed deep inside the Sniper's stomach and out the other before throwing him off his feet and off the building.
Smiling at that I focused at the other operatives who at this point had grown terrified of me seeing as behind me I was followed by hundreds of sharp swords with their guns not working.
Smiling I aimed the swords at them and watched as they froze and started running away only to be pierced down by dozens of swords.
And now all that was left was the airplane and it's pilot who at this time was too scared to even move from his seat.
Smiling at that I looked around and using my Telekinetic Perception felt where the other couple dozen operatives were waiting in ambush.
Smiling at that I raised my hand and in tandem my swords also rose to the air before pointing at the directions where a dozen of them were hiding and I also saw Cain standing over the body of Dr Ashford.
' Ah fuck....' I thought with a frown as I had actually wanted to save the fucker only for the reason that I didn't want to babysit but it seems that my intervention had changed a lot of things.
" Fuck it." I muttered before dropping my hand and thus the hundred or so heavy blades crashed down on the multiple operatives killing or majorly injuring them.
And while doing this Alive had gotten everybody inside the chopper except Nikolai who wasn't anywhere to be seen and by looking at the sulking Carlos I could guess.
" NO!!! " We suddenly heard making Alice and Rain come out of the plane and right there coming up towards us was Major Cain dragging the body of Dr Ashford.
" Daddy!" I heard Angela's cry behind me as she almost ran to Cain but was stopped by Alice.
" You!!" Cain shouted pointing at me. " Project Zenith you weren't supposed to be awake! You weren't supposed to mess with my experiment!! You ruined everything!" He cmsaud before he started cussing out incomprehensible words as he dropped the body of Ashford much to the pain of Angela.
" Okay so?" I asked aloud making sure that he heard me and apparently that wasn't the right thing to say as he immediately went livid as he started his pocket making Rain and Alice point their guns at him but didn't shoot probably curious to his actions just as I was.
He took out a syringe and inside was a vial reminiscent of the T-Virus but the colour was instead red.
" Hahahaha! This is a new strain of the virus we were able to synthesise, stronger and much better in what in did and wanted....and you want to know where we got it?" He asked looking more demented by the second and I suddenly felt a sudden foreboding to his words.
" We created this variant from your blood and those bitches besides you! Fusing all three of the T-Virus survivors T-Virus Infected DNA we finally had a breakthrough! Now I'll kill you with it for messing everything up." He shouted and immediately injected himself with the virus and not seeing any way this would go fine for me I immediately used every sword I had flying to pierce him like a porcupine.
And then I waited with bated breath as the girls besides me also had their weopons in the ready as I heard the choppers engine finally hum to life.
After a second we saw that he wasn't moving so we immediately boarded the Airplane and lifted off.
But through all this I hadn't taken my eyes off Cain and I was rewarded as I watched his body twitch before his body started melting and then I watched as what I could only describe as an abomination was crafted from his bio-mass.
It rose to a whooping height of 7 metres in height with muscles so big they tore before regenerating with its every movement, it had no eyes, nose, mouth or ears but I saw it look at our escaping plane before it's hands suddenly turned metallic and a metal sword grew out of his forearms before it started walking towards our direction but at this point my Telekinetic Perceptions range got out of range as we flew away from the city.
But throughout all this I had been quiet which had made the others probably worried as I schooled my worried expression and breathed in before muttering under my breath.
" Fuck."
They somehow used mine, Rains and Alice's blood to create a much more powerful variant monster.
I was so fucked in the coming moments of my life in this world.
' It looks like I'll have to create those T-Virus Serums much sooner and preferably create my own apocalypse team to fight the coming threats that they could have created with my blood.
