King of Vampires

The Crimson Moon War reached its conclusion with Zelretch winning against Crimson Moon, and Titus Brunestud winning against the Mage Association. He may not have killed Zelretch physically, but he broke his spirit through the death of his best friend, the destruction of his homeland, and razing all that he held dear to the ground. This kind of victory shattered all True Ancestors' pride as they began to doubt their monarch, Crimson Moon's competence.

Crimson Moon is dead, albeit only temporarily, but she was lost at the hands of magi nonetheless while Titus Brunestud thrived, won, slew Brishian, and destroyed the Mage Association with his own hand and his inferior breed armies.

Invincibility was written all over his face; he didn't even hide his ambition after he fused with the Holy Grail. Now, he is stronger than ever, and the shackled limitation that held over True Ancestors is broken. He is no longer Crimson Moon's puppet or vessel; he is a man of his own.

The first thing he does after the fusion is forcefully transport Millennium Castle from the Moon to the ground, specifically to Earth, and summon all surviving True Ancestors to gather, which comprised 100 in number.

Not only them, but all Dead Apostle Ancestors were present, and a massive number of undead were summoned before him.

This is not Millennium Castle from Arcueid Brunestud's reality marble, but the real one from the Moon.

Sitting on the former throne of Crimson Moon, all True Ancestors who gathered looked at Titus with pure rage written over their faces.

How dare he sit on Crimson Moon's throne? Did he want to proclaim himself as a king?

"Even if you won the war, it doesn't mean you have the right to bypass our father's throne, Titus Brunestud! You..." Before he could finish his words, his head exploded as blood spilled over the place.

"I have every right to sit on this throne. I've won; that's all that mattered while you squirm in defeat at the hands of magi. I can defeat them once, and I can defeat them again over and over again. Is there any of you who want to challenge my throne?" Titus asked contemptuously.

"Do you even see our father in your eyes, Titus? She never declared her intention to make you an heir. She is dead, but not completely dead. She will return once again in the future to rule over us again," one of them stated.

"Does she even have the right to be called a king? She forgot her own purpose to come to Earth. Instead, she played her own game with Gaia. Love made her weak; we became tools for her to please her lover. Instead of dominating the Earth, we played hero with humans. It's all because of her. She is no king!" Titus stood from his throne, and his aura of invincibility pressured the room. All the True Ancestors couldn't help but sweat coldly on their foreheads.

They felt as if they were being stared at by a dangerous beast; his mere aura alone could almost make them faint.

How could this guy become so strong in such a short span of time? They noticed that Titus's power and aura were stronger than their father, Crimson Moon.

How could they stop this guy if this goes on?

The depressive silence enveloped the room until a black-haired girl in a gothic dress stood in front of Titus. When everyone else was afraid of him, only one woman fearlessly approached him and touched his face gently.

"What they did to you is terrible, Titus. You should have abandoned them long ago. They're not worth your protection or your leadership. They're not worth it, Titus." Altrouge glared at the present True Ancestors in the room menacingly.

No matter what, she stood by her brother's side, even if they objected to his ascension.

In the past, he tried to bring sense into them, that Alaya and Gaia are not good things at all, and tried to convince Crimson Moon that she should open her eyes to see that Gaia is just using her. Yet despite the many pieces of evidence that he showed them, he was ostracized and treated as a freak.

For them, Crimson Moon was never wrong. She was always right, no matter how terrible her decisions were. It's like they have been brainwashed to always be loyal to her. Anything that tried to correct her was treated as a freak and someone that needed to be put in place.

Even when he proved the fact that he was more capable than her and brought many pieces of evidence of Alaya and Gaia's betrayal, they turned deaf and blind eyes to it. In the end, he gave up and exiled himself to the far north, enjoying his own solace with red wine in his hand.

Not until the Crimson Moon War and the arrival of his golden finger chat group did his ambition resurface again. Since everyone couldn't be brought to sense with a peaceful resolution, he took it by force.

When he did, he found out that everything didn't matter that much to him. Crimson Moon's throne was worthless to him. Even though he proved himself over and over again, they were still blind to fault, and Crimson Moon was always right despite how terrible a leader she was. She brought them to extinction for her useless devotion to Gaia.

"I will not take this throne; however, Crimson Moon doesn't deserve the throne more than me." Titus then unleashed the inferno at the throne, burning it to ashes.

"Farewell, my friends, my families, and my former home. May you enjoy your own terrible end. Don't cry to me when Alaya's dog is hunting you down." He then left without looking back.

Dead Apostle Ancestors who followed him in the War of Jerusalem took his side without hesitation. Even a handful of True Ancestors decided to leave with him, along with Altrouge Brunestud, who accompanied him on his right side.

Arcueid hesitated for a moment, then sighed as she decided to follow him and see where it goes.

Unlike her, who was full of hesitation, the massive numbers of undead armies didn't hesitate to show their support for the new king and followed his lead.

He may not have won True Ancestors' approval, but most of the Dead Apostle Ancestors and massive undead armies decided to follow his lead and crown him as King of Vampires.

True Ancestors present sighed in relief when they saw Titus had left and stared at the ashen throne blankly.

No one paid attention to Titus's warning about Alaya hunting them down.

They still believed their monarch, Crimson Moon, that Alaya and Gaia are allies and their cooperation would last forever.

The armies and kingdom can be rebuilt, so they didn't care about Titus, who left them with nothing except an empty castle.

But is that really the case?
