Capítulo 22: THE LOVER

Lucien realized how terrified it must be for not being able to control your own body and he could understand why Hope was crying right now.

In his arms, Hope was trembling, her voice was shaking. "Am I… am I just a breading machine for you?" she sobbed the question, the pain hurt her so much even when she asked about it.

On the other hand, Lucien sighed deeply upon hearing such question. "Don't be silly, you are my mate, who told you such thing?"

"You treated me like that." Hope cried against his chest, she hugged him because she felt the comfort when he treated her gently like this and not trying to force himself into her.

"No, Hope, you are my mate." Lucien emphasized the word.

'I treated you like that because I don't know how to face you.'

That was the only excuse that he had for his action.
