"You are trying to play hard to get with me, right?" Liam walked toward her, he was like a predator that found their prey. "You don't need to do that, I am interested in you."
Hope narrowed her eyes. "But, I am not." She backed away when he came closer to her and this made Liam smirked.
"Stop it. I know that you are interested in me, I heard it." This time, he made a quick movement, where he grabbed her wrist and pushed her against the wall behind her.
Hope's eyes opened wide. She was about to scream but Liam covered her mouth. The way he looked down at her sent chills down to her spine.
"You tell everyone that you like me, don't you think that words will travel back to me? Now, I will give you a shot." Liam used his other hand to touch her neck and brushed away her hair from her neck only to frown when he saw a red mark there.
"Damn! I don't know that you are so bold."
Hope knew that he must misunderstood that red mark, just like Samantha,
"But, don't worry, I don't mind it." He tilted his head and smirked. "Let's have fun, shall we?"
Hope felt the repulsion when she felt his cold hand touched her skin, he looked so disgusting when he approached her with a smirk curled on the corner of his lips.
"Get away from me or I will scream!" Hope felt the rush of adrenaline when fear crept into her heart upon seeing the malicious intention behind Liam's eyes.
"You don't need to be shy, Hope, I have paid close attention to you. You will look amazing if you show your skin more," Liam grabbed her hand and when she was about to scream, he kissed her roughly.
Frozen for a moment, Hope desperately pushed Liam away as she felt his fingers slide down her thigh.
As his tongue invaded her mouth, Hope responded by biting it down as hard as she could.
"Bitch!" Liam pushed her away with anger. "I can make this pleasurable for you, but it seems, you like it rough."
"Let me give you a lesson." Seeing her fall on the floor, Liam pulled her leg and pinned her down.
'No!' Hope was mortified, her entire body was trembling. The feeling of helplessness sunk in when Liam gathered her hands above her head and he tried to unbutton her uniform.
'Someone help me! Please!' Tears streamed down from her eyes, as Hope shut them tightly, she didn't want to see how all of this was happening to her. She didn't want to see his face.
But when she thought Liam would ruin her, she felt the weight disappear from above her.
"Aahhhhhhh!" A shrill scream echoed throughout this locker room, along with a loud noise of something being broken.
Hope curled her body and felt someone touch her.
"Don't touch me!" She screamed in panic, but soon, the touch became different, as she felt something draped on her shoulder.
"Ssh… it's okay, you are safe now."
###
It was not Liam's voice! But she seemed to have heard it once.
Hope opened her eyes nervously and was surprised to recognized the one.
It was him, the masked man from her dream.
'Is he real? Or it was just my imagination?' Hope wondered.
But the feeling of warmth from his jacket made her realize he was real.
'So, is that dream just an accident?'
Before she could figure it out, the masked man had gotten down on one knee, trying to button up the jacket for her. His touch was the same as the dream, Hope couldn't help collecting her legs together.
"Are you, okay?" the masked man asked, as his rough thumb brushed her swollen lips. His dark eyes filled with fury.
"Th...thank you." Hope nodded while nervously looking away to confirm whether Liam was still here.
Just a short glance made her gasp.
Liam was groaning in pain on the other side. From the weird angle of his left arm, it seemed to be broken. She was shocked to look back at the masked man.
'How strong was he to do that?'
The fear was too obvious in her eyes, especially when she heard a low, dangerous growl ramble from his chest.
'Oh, he gets mad!'
Hope didn't know which one was more horrible at that moment, but her instinct told her to leave this place.
'Run! I need to run out of here.'
She immediately stood up, stumbled on her feet and rushed out of the locker room, while holding the jacket that covered her body tightly.
There was some woodsy scent from the jacket, yet her mind was in a mess.
She only stopped running when she was out of breath and turned around to see whether someone was chasing after her.
'Good, no one there.'
Neither the masked man nor Liam. Hope finally felt relieved.
And when Hope was about to walk away from there, she heard a commotion behind her.
"See, isn't that Liam?" A boy suddenly shouted out and there was this boisterous laughter from the students around him.
Following the direction he pointed, Hope squinted his eyes and saw an unbelievable scene.
Coming out of the second building, it was Liam, who was only in his underwear.
"What a funny show! Our Prince Liam lost his pants!" The laughter grew louder, and some of them even started whistling at Liam.
Only Hope noticed that he was crazily running away from something, as his face blanched.
'Is there something chasing after him?' Hope was confused but soon got nervous, as he was heading this way.
"No way!" Worrying that he would catch her soon, she ran toward the opposite direction, which led her to the small forest behind the school.
"What a bad day!" She fell on her knees once she was sure that she was alone.
The helplessness surrounded her, as she exhausted herself and fell asleep.Hope only woke up when she heard a rustling sound and realized it was already evening.
