Kevin smiled and reached out to gently pat Bronya's head.
Though she was an AI, the gesture was oddly fitting. To Kevin's surprise, Bronya's expression softened slightly, a subtle glimmer of delight crossing her usually emotionless face.
"Good work, Bronya," Kevin said warmly. "You really came through for us."
Bronya straightened slightly, her posture reflecting a quiet pride. "I will continue to optimize the process and monitor all further experiments, Kevin-ni-sama."
Mobius, who had been intensely focused on the results, finally spoke, her voice tinged with genuine excitement. "With Bronya's adjustments, this changes everything. The MANTIS operation has a real chance now. We might actually succeed in creating warriors strong enough to face the Herrschers."
Mei nodded, her earlier doubts melting away as she looked at Bronya. "Yes, and it's all thanks to her.
Mobius, typically reserved and meticulous, surprised everyone by announcing a three-day holiday for the entire team.
The lab erupted in cheers, and her three assistants—Klein, Nuwa, and Fuxi—were practically bouncing with excitement. It was a rare break from the grueling work that had consumed their lives for so long.
Kevin, ever the instigator of fun, suggested they all head out to celebrate at a sushi restaurant downtown.
The night at the sushi restaurant was filled with laughter and camaraderie. Plates of sushi were passed around, and the sake flowed freely.

Sure enough, it wasn't long before Mei was practically draped over Kevin, her hands wandering as she giggled into his ear.
Kevin, though about the attention, gently tried to keep things discreet, aware of their public setting.
"Mei, we're still in a restaurant," Kevin whispered.
"But Kevin," Mei pouted, her words slurring slightly as she pressed closer.
"I want you now..."Kevin's eyes widened slightly, and he glanced over at Mobius, who was now smirking knowingly. "Alright, alright," Kevin relented, standing up and helping Mei to her feet.
"Let's get you home, Mei."

In the dim light of Kevin's room, Mei lay on the bed, her body warm and slightly flushed from the alcohol.
Kevin, having just detoxified her with a gentle healing spell, was met with Mei's slight pout. It was clear she wasn't entirely pleased about being sobered up.
"Why did you do that? I was just starting to enjoy myself," Mei complained softly, her voice laced with a teasing undertone.
Kevin chuckled, leaning down to brush a strand of hair away from her face. "I didn't want you to wake up with a headache tomorrow. But," he added with a mischievous grin, "how about I make it up to you with a massage? You look like you could use some relaxation."
Mei raised an eyebrow, still a bit tipsy but intrigued. "A massage? Do you even know how to give one?"

He kissed Mei and start removing her clothes leaving her only in underwear. Mei face turn red but she didn't resist.
Kevin's hands gently guided Mei to lie down on her stomach, her hair cascading over the pillow. He reached for a bottle of massage oil, warming it between his palms before starting with her neck and shoulders. His touch was firm yet gentle, and Mei let out a small sigh as the tension in her muscles began to melt away.
