Capítulo 28: Ch-28 < Descend of 5th >

Mobius meticulously analyzed the Divine Key, her eyes alight with scientific curiosity.

She took various readings of the weapon's structure, studying the fusion of materials and the unique energy signatures emanating from it. Kevin, meanwhile, observed her keenly, waiting for the right moment.

As Mobius focused on the data, Kevin moved closer, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Want me to show you how to fully utilize the power of Reason?" he offered, his tone smooth and inviting.

Mobius looked up, intrigued. "Yes".

that would be—" Her words were cut off as Kevin leaned in, capturing her lips in a deep, assertive kiss.

Mobius's eyes widened in surprise, but she found herself unable to pull away. Kevin's touch became more intense as he used his Craving Touch ability, causing Mobius to moan softly against his mouth, her normally composed demeanor melting away.

Kevin while kissing showed her the right feeling to use his powers.

Across the room, Mei and Elysia exchanged glances. Mei sighed, a mix of exasperation and amusement in her expression, while Elysia giggled, finding the situation entertaining.

Kevin eventually broke the kiss, leaving Mobius breathless and flushed. She stood there, stunned, her face a deep shade of red.

Kevin clearly pleased with the effect he had on her. Klein and other lab assistants watched with wide eyes, utterly fascinated by the transformation of their usually stoic and emotionless doctor into a flustered, docile figure.

Shaking off the surprise, Mobius quickly regained her composure, eager to test out the newfound capabilities.

She closed her eyes, focusing on the power of Reason now coursing through her. As she opened them again, her expression shifted to one of awe.

"This is incredible," Mobius murmured, her voice filled with wonder. "My calculation speed, memory, and processing abilities have reached an entirely new level. Concepts that were once challenging to grasp now seem almost trivial."

She immediately turned her attention to her work, her hands flying across various interfaces as she analyzed data and ran simulations. The others watched in admiration as Mobius worked with newfound efficiency and precision.

Meanwhile, Kevin took the Divine Key to a testing area within the lab. He performed various tests, observing it's effect and the amount of honkai energy it can store.

In evening

He then sensed something, bringing him back to reality. The fifth eruption was drawing near. Since this time the honkai concentrated is within his range.

He could sense a massive gathering of Honkai energy, particularly in Sundown Alley. The energy was palpable, a harbinger of the impending disaster.

Kevin turned to the group, his expression serious. "The fifth eruption is close," he announced, his voice filled with urgency. "I can feel a huge amount of Honkai energy gathering in Sundown Alley. We need to prepare for what's coming."

Despite the month of august , Sundown Alley is experiencing snowfall.

The room fell silent, the gravity of the situation sinking in. Mobius looked up from her work, her expression matching the seriousness of the moment. "We've been monitoring the Honkai energy levels," she said, her voice steady. "But if it's concentrating that much, it means the situation is escalating faster than anticipated."

Elysia nodded, her usual cheerfulness replaced by a determined look. "We need to be ready. This could be a major event, and we can't afford to be caught off guard."

Mei, standing close to Kevin." This time we'll make sure the casualties will be less." she said softly, her voice filled with resolve.

"Whatever happens, we'll be there to support each other." Kevin said.

Kevin looked around at his friends and allies, feeling a surge of determination.

With the threat of the fifth eruption looming, Kevin swiftly organized a plan to protect the citizens of Sundown Alley. "Elysia," he called, his voice resolute, "prepare the rescue soldiers and evacuate the civilians in the area. We need to minimize casualties."

Elysia nodded, her usual cheer replaced with a serious expression. "On it," she responded, quickly mobilizing the rescue squad.

The team set off, moving through the streets with urgency, guiding panicked citizens to safety.

Meanwhile, back at the lab, Kevin was busy forging weapons and armor using Soulium and QUAD.

Each piece was carefully crafted to enhance the survivability of the soldiers, even if they couldn't match the power of the Divine Key.

Kevin knew these enhancements would still provide a crucial edge.

Mei glanced at the gear being produced and expressed her concern. "If these weapons and armor don't work, what will we do?" she asked, her voice tinged with worry.

Mobius nodded in agreement. "Our forces are already stretched thin," she added. "We can't afford any more losses. Our manpower is diminishing."

Mei took a deep breath and suggested a solution. "We should accelerate Project MANTIS. It will give us quality over quantity, enhancing the abilities of our elite soldiers."

As they finalized their plans, the rescue squad led by Elysia was busy on the front lines.

The streets of Sundown Alley were filled with civilians rushing to evacuate.

Suddenly, a group of white-colored Templar Knights appeared, menacing and ready to strike. The situation became dire as the Honkai beasts began to close in.

Those monsters. They did come. Someone in crowd shoted and the streets became chaotic.

A pink-colored arrow was released with precision. The arrow flew straight and true, piercing through multiple Templar Knights and dissipating their threat.

Elysia, ever vigilant, acted swiftly.

"Keep the evacuation going! Don't let any of these beasts through!" Elysia said to soldiers.

Yes. They shouted and form a defensive line to protect civilians.

Elysia's pink arrows rained down, decimating the enemy ranks and providing a safe path for the fleeing citizens.

One soldier, a young man with a bandage hastily wrapped around his arm, stepped forward. "You really saved us back there," he said, voice trembling slightly from the adrenaline. "If you hadn't intervened, those monsters would've torn through everyone."

Elysia smiled gently, her usually cheerful demeanor softened by the gravity of the situation. "Just doing my job," she replied, glancing around at the civilians.

"We couldn't let anyone get hurt."

A woman from the group of civilians, clutching a small child close to her chest, looked at Elysia with tears in her eyes.

"Thank you," she said, her voice thick with emotion. "You saved us... I don't know how we can ever repay you."

Elysia shook her head, waving off the notion of repayment. "No need for thanks. The important thing is that you're all safe," she reassured them. "

We'll get you out of here soon. Just stick close to the soldiers and follow their instructions."

Another soldier, slightly older and more grizzled, nodded in agreement. "We'll make sure everyone gets to safety," he affirmed, turning to the civilians.

"Let's move in an orderly fashion, folks. Stay calm, and we'll guide you to the safe zone."

As the rescue operations continued, the ground began to tremble, and a chilling roar echoed through the air.

Two massive, scaled serpentine creatures burst into the scene, their forms adorned with frosty patterns. One bore shimmering blue scales, while the other was a striking purple.

There are clearly stronger than Templar class. Elysia thought.

These monstrous beings, bristling with energy, lunged at the fleeing civilians, their intent clear.

Civilians screamed in fear.

Elysia swiftly acted. She materialized a crystal wall, a barrier of pink-hued energy that stood between the beasts and the vulnerable civilians.

" here". Elysia shouted trying to attract their attention.

The blue-scaled serpent reared back, forming an orb of ice in its maw. It fired the orb with a chilling force, aiming directly at Elysia. With a steady hand, she released an energy arrow, shattering the ice orb mid-air.

Boom!

The force of her arrow continued through, striking the purple beast, causing it to hiss in anger.

Furious, the purple serpent retaliated, launching a barrage of ice shards towards Elysia.

She quickly summoned a crystal shield, but the sheer force of the attack pushed her back. The ice shards shattered against the shield, creating a flurry of icy debris.

As she steadied herself, the blue serpent rolled towards her, its body a blur of motion. Elysia nimbly dodged, but the beast's momentum carried it towards the crystal shield, which it shattered with two powerful horizontal slashes followed by a devastating downward smash.

Baaang!

The ground cracked.

The impact sent a shockwave through the ground, but Elysia flipped backward, avoiding the brunt of the attack.

Regaining her composure, she unleashed a barrage of pink energy arrows at the blue beast.

Each arrow struck with precision, causing the serpent to roar in agony.

In response, the creature emitted a blue aura, its body glowing with an icy light. It opened its mouth and fired a concentrated laser beam, sweeping it across the battlefield.

Elysia reacted instantly, forming a massive shield of crystal energy. The beam deflected off the shield, scattering in all directions and causing explosions.

Bang ! Bang ! Bang !

The entire area where attack land freezing it instantly.

Meanwhile, the purple serpent turned its attention towards the civilians and Moth soldiers.

The solider tried to defend civilians against purple serpent.

With a single swing of its mighty hand, it sent two soldiers flying, their bodies crashing into the nearby buildings.

The civilians screamed in terror, trapped between the monstrous beast and the ongoing battle.

Seeing this, Elysia's heart raced. She couldn't allow the beast to harm the innocents.

Deep pink aura formed near her body. Elysia activated her powers.

Pink crystals surged from the ground, impaling the purple beast with a series of sharp, crystalline spikes.

he creature howled in pain, thrashing wildly. Simultaneously, Elysia fired a volley of energy arrows at the blue serpent, each shot more powerful than the last. The arrows struck true, the final one knocking the beast back with such force that it collapsed, immobilized.

Both dead with elysia surge of herrscher power.

"Is everyone alright?" she called out, her voice carrying a mix of relief and authority.

A soldier, supporting his injured comrade, gave her a thumbs-up. "Thanks to you, we're good," he said, voice filled with gratitude.

Elysia nodded, a small, tired smile forming on her lips. She looked over at the civilians, some of whom were still clinging to each other in shock. "Stay calm," she reassured them, "we'll get you all to safety."

As the civilians began to organize, Elysia caught sight of a young boy staring at her with wide eyes.

He couldn't have been older than ten, and his gaze was filled with awe. Noticing his curiosity, Elysia crouched down to his level and gave him a gentle smile. "Hey there, little guy. Are you okay?"

The boy nodded shyly, clutching a small stuffed animal tightly. "You were amazing," he murmured. "Like a real superhero."

Elysia smiled, her heart warmed by the innocent admiration. "Well, I had a lot of help from my friends," she said, glancing back at the Moth soldiers who were ensuring the evacuation continued smoothly. "And we all worked together to keep you safe. That's what heroes do, right?"

The boy nodded again, this time with a small smile. His mother, standing behind him, mouthed a silent "thank you" to Elysia, who responded with a reassuring nod.

Elysia looked back at the civilians being led away, feeling a swell of determination. She turned to the soldier and the remaining team. "Alright, let's keep moving. We can't let our guard down yet.
