Dragon Heart [2]
The fog, everything surrounding me is the fog.
"Move!"
"Sir, your necklace."
Jenny pointed at the castle around my neck, glowing faintly with a golden light.
"Mother Ash's necklace."
Before she died, she placed it around Ash's neck. Not an artifact or anything of the sort—I had inspected it before and it turned out to be a plain galaxy necklace, or so it seemed.
"Do you react because of my suggestion from the dragon lord, well I'll give you that when I see him."
"Don't worry too much let's keep walking."
We have been walking for a long time maybe a few hours or more. The novel mentioned the way to reach the den of the dragon lord, but did not mention the duration.
"Damn this old lizard."
"Do you want me to carry you, little one?" Jenny asked the young elf girl and nodded.
"Yes, please move my feet to speak to me."
"This useless child is devoid of benefit."
We continued walking until we found a huge cave in front of us.
"Have we arrived?"
"Soon."
And after a while, I caught a shiny thing in the middle of the cave.
"Finally."
As I approached the crystal, I suddenly felt a strong current pulling me back. I tried to resist, but I lost my balance and fell into a swirl of dense fog. I couldn't see anything, and the fog wrapped tightly around me, pulling me away from the hall and the others.
"My prince! Sir!"
Jenny and Ron shouted, but their voices faded in the fog.
After a few moments of spinning in the whirl of fog, I found myself in a completely different place. The fog forest was denser here, and eerie silence filled the air. I tried to compose myself and look for any sign to guide me back, but everything seemed strange and confusing.
As I wandered through the fog, I heard a deep voice calling:
"Who are you?"
I turned slowly to find a colossal dragon with glowing eyes in front of me. Its form was magnificent and terrifying at the same time, and in that moment I knew I was facing the dragon lord himself.
"Ah, so this is the dragon lord."
The peak of the dragon's aura was majestic in its severity. Was he really on the verge of death?
The dragon watched me silently for a moment, then said:
"What are you wearing around your neck?"
I didn't understand what he meant until I saw his gaze turn towards the necklace on my neck. Mother Ash's necklace, it seems he knows it, and when I raised it, I noticed the dragon's eyes widening in astonishment.
"That necklace... how did you come by it," he said with a voice choked with emotion. "Your life will depend on your answer."

I answered with a cold voice and a careless look: "It's my mother's necklace."
The dragon approached me slowly, and it seemed he examined me carefully. "I feel my daughter's blood in you... this cannot be a coincidence. Could you be my grandson?"

What the hell did he say now? I know that Ash's mother is Danish, but she has to be the daughter of the Dragon Lord! This is something not mentioned in the novel
"Her blood passed to you. You are of dragon bloodline, which is why you can enter my territory."
I sat there dumbfounded, trying to process what he said. There were so many questions filling my mind, but before I could think further,
"Wait, all the dragons went crazy, even my mother couldn't handle it, so she killed herself, so why shouldn't you?"
The Dragon Lord looked at me sadly, as if he was carrying the weight of the world
"I can't tell you much but...it's our destiny."

I looked at the dragon lord strangely

Before I could finish
"How do you know that?"
The Dragon Lord was astonished
But I was more surprised by him...that symbol
It is mentioned frequently in the novel and the hero is closely associated with the end of the world
It is the same symbol that brings ruin wherever it is found
It spread terror into the souls of humanity.
It is the same symbol that was sealed on his slave.

In fact, humans did not fight except weak or small dragons. As for the ancient and powerful dragons, the dragon master was killed by the dragon master after a contract with the emperor. He disappeared after that.
The Dragon Lord spoke weakly
"The reason behind the dragons' madness is that the end of the world is approaching. On that day, all beings will submit to the rule of the Demon King."
I interrupted him before he could finish speaking
"Therefore, you took it upon yourself to kill all of your kind to avoid destroying the world, and you defied fate, and thus you became in this state. It is a noble sacrifice from you, Lord of Dragons.".
The Dragon Lord was astonished
"You know things you shouldn't know, and you have a twisted destiny, boy. Normally everyone is bound by a destiny that cannot be changed, but you are not bound by it, mysterious and unknown."
What does this mean?
"What do you mean-"
The Dragon Lord stared into my eyes
"I don't have much time left to carry my legacy. Now, I will give you my heart. It is the source of my strength and wisdom, and it will give you great power."
The dragon began to transform, and its heart shone with a bright light. He slowly approached me and placed his paws on my chest, and I felt a tremendous energy sweeping through me. The powers that had always been a part of the Dragon Lord were now flowing through my veins. I felt stronger, wiser, and braver than I had ever felt before.
After planting his heart in me, the dragon retreated slowly, his voice becoming weaker: "If you go deeper, you will find some good things that will benefit you on your journey, too. Please do what I and all your ancestors could not do. Kill the Demon King. This is a wish that I could not fulfill." "Use my power by virtue of living proudly, last descendant of dragons."
With his last words, the dragon turned into fine ash, disappearing into thin air. It was a pity for him to die like this, it was a waste.
But who would have expected that Lash, a pathetic third-rate villain, would not have such a great background.
This world has more secrets than I expect. I am the one who read and memorized the novel 'The Breaker of Destiny. There are things I do not know. I may face many other unknown things
