Capítulo 1: Chapter 1

From a very young age, Adam had been enchanted by the vibrant world of comics, particularly those featuring the superheroes of DC and Marvel. His heart always gravitated towards the tales of heroes clashing with villains and saving the day. Batman's relentless pursuit of justice had inspired him to learn martial arts, while Spider-Man's unwavering positivity in the face of adversity taught him to stay optimistic. But as Adam grew older, his perspective shifted. The endless cycle of battles between heroes and villains, with innocent lives often caught in the crossfire, left him disillusioned. He came to believe that, while not all villains deserved death, some truly did.

Now 18 years old, Adam found himself running with all his might. It was his first day at university, and he was already late. As he sprinted through the busy streets, he noticed a child about to be struck by a speeding car. Without a second thought, Adam veered off course and lunged forward, pushing the child to safety. The child survived, but Adam did not. His death was instant and gruesome. Before he could comprehend what had happened, everything went black.

When Adam opened his eyes, he found himself in a vast ocean of nothingness. "Is this the afterlife? Cause if it is, then I'm quite disappointed," Adam thought out loud. He had no sense of time or space, unsure if he was floating or standing. Suddenly, a tear appeared in the fabric of the void, and from it emerged a figure of brilliance and divinity. The light radiating from the being almost blinded Adam.

"Oh, sorry about that," the being said, snapping its fingers. The nothingness around Adam morphed into a luxurious room filled with expensive furniture. Adam found himself sitting on a plush chair at a round table. Opposite to him sat the being, now in human form. The being resembled an old, chubby man with a mustache, wearing a bowler hat and a suit. He looked oddly familiar.

Adam's eyes widened in realization. He had read enough comics to recognize the figure before him: it was The Presence, the creator of the DC multiverse. Just as Adam was grappling with this revelation, The Presence checked his wristwatch and said, "Hmm, he should be here by now."

The door to the room opened, and an elderly man in his 80s entered. He had a cheerful expression and wore glasses. Adam's jaw nearly hit the floor. The new arrival was none other than Stan freaking Lee himself. "But how could that be? Stan Lee had passed away a few years ago," Adam wondered.

As the old man approached, Adam's mind raced. Adam looked at the presence and then at stan Lee. Soon he realized something. If the figure sitting opposite to him was The Presence, the creator of DC, then the new guest, in the guise of Stan Lee, must be The One Above All, the creator of the Marvel multiverse.

"What in the name of heaven or hell is going on here? Is this a dream? Am I in a coma?" Adam wondered, much to the amusement of the two entities before him.

As Adam was lost in his whirlpool of thoughts, the One Above All, in the guise of Stan Lee, glanced at The Presence. "So, he is the one," he said.

The Presence nodded solemnly. Adam snapped out of his reverie, curious about their exchange. The OAA looked at Adam, and with a snap of his fingers, Adam's world shifted dramatically.

A weight fell heavy on Adam's head, and visions overwhelmed him. He saw a colossal tree of light, its branches innumerable, each representing a different universe. Adam realized what this tree was. It was Yggdrasil, the world tree or in this case the structure of the multiverse itself. Adam looked into some of the universes. Some universes mirrored his own mundane world, while others were war-torn, desolate wastelands, some were straight out of the comics he adored. These multiversal trees lined up in an intricate ecosystem called the Omniverse, a concept beyond his wildest dreams.

Yet, beyond the Omniverse lay an expanse of darkness, a void that seemed infinite. In this darkness, colossal beings with spike like fins on their back swam, their presence both awe-inspiring and terrifying. Just as Adam tried to get closer, he was yanked back with a force that left him breathless.

Adam jolted awake, panting heavily, his heart pounding in his chest. He looked around and saw the two entities still seated, watching him intently. The experience, though brief, had felt like a nuclear explosion within his mind. He now understood the structure of the Omniverse and the ominous outer realm that lay beyond it.

Taking a few moments to stabilize himself, Adam's thoughts turned to his death. He remembered his parents, friends, and his pet dog Leo. A wave of sadness washed over him, knowing they would grieve his loss deeply. Yet, he also believed they would eventually find a way to move forward. Adam steeled himself, realizing that he now possessed knowledge and awareness far beyond that of any mortal.

He looked at the two entities, the creators of their respective worlds. He now understood why these entities would leave their respective domain to only meet him.
