Eveline's abrupt departure made it impossible for Gabriel to relax. He was hoping for a response, or some indication that she finds him credible. But instead of returning the kiss, she gave him a blank stare and turned to leave.

Why was the whole thing going against him? What would make her distrust him?

He was devastated by her words, which she continued to blabber about while denying his statements.

Was it a serious mistake on his part to lead her to believe that he detested her, or was there something more she was concealing from him?

He certainly felt differently about her, but these differences were also raising a lot of questions in his mind.

As he continued to delve into his thoughts, a message from Stefan buzzed through on his phone.

"I have forwarded the video to you," he stated, and Gabriel promptly executed his command by hitting the play button.
