A perfect Underworld Fighter!
No matter the circumstances, Hades maintained one belief: every perfect Underworld Fighter is a miracle. This is undoubtedly true. Each one is indeed a miracle.
Charon, Stand, Cheshire.
These three perfect Underworld Fighters were miracles in Hades' eyes. Naturally, he wouldn't excessively pursue them. It was great if he encountered one, but if not, it didn't matter.
However, during this harvest in the small world, he indeed encountered the fourth perfect Underworld Fighter.
Hades raised his hand, and a demon star appeared. Within the star, a figure was undergoing transformation as divine power from the star infused his body.
Moments later.
Buzz~~~
Buzz~~~
With the hum of divine power, a figure clad in dark purple Underworld Armor emerged, kneeling on one knee, and respectfully said, "Earthly Yin Star: Headless Horseman Dullahan, Chub!"
"Greetings, Lord Hades!"
Hades nodded indifferently, and only then did Chub rise.
Afterwards, Hades spoke coldly, "Return."
"Yes!"
Chub respectfully withdrew, leaving Elysium and returning to the demon star of Earthly Yin Star. Hades began to ponder, considering the four perfect Underworld Fighters.
It could be said.
Such a harvest was gradually exceeding expectations. After all, the difference between a perfect Underworld Fighter and an ordinary one lay in their potential.
Ordinary Underworld Fighters, no matter how outstanding, ultimately had no future and would fade away. Only perfect Underworld Fighters could continue to improve over time, with limitless potential and no upper limit. They could infinitely enhance, regardless of the circumstances.
Because they were bound to Hades. If ordinary Underworld Fighters were mere puppets and cannon fodder, perfect Underworld Fighters held a status equal to, or even surpassing, subordinate gods.
This was the special nature of perfect Underworld Fighters.
After Chub left, Hades continued to ponder his gains, estimating the events or tasks that might need attention.
"Hmm."
Hades suddenly nodded slightly.
In the next moment.
A ray of light blossomed, and a gate to the Underworld opened. Charon stepped through, entering Elysium, kneeling respectfully on one knee, and said, "Lord Hades."
"What is it?" Hades asked calmly.
Charon respectfully reported, "Lord Hades, I have found the 72 Demon Pillars in the small world."
"..."
Hades fell silent for a moment, a hint of joy surfacing uncontrollably. For the Underworld, what was the most suitable pillar? The Demon Pillars! That's right, the most suitable were the 72 Demon Pillars.
If there was anything more suitable...
No!
There was nothing more suitable. For the Underworld, the 72 Demon Pillars were the perfect pillars.
"Good," Hades said quietly.
Then.
Hades raised his hand, and the demon star of Heavenly Interval Star appeared, revealing the 72 Demon Pillars standing within. Although they were born from the small world, their origin as Demon Pillars remained intact. They only needed some postnatal purification, which was not a problem.
Hades hadn't expected such a harvest. Too many things had happened. The exploration of the Sea of Chaos had just ended, leading to the encounter with that terrifying Outer God. Upon returning, he began to inventory his gains, from Underworld Armors to perfect Underworld Fighters.
He thought the harvest was already excellent, as the World Tree had further evolved. Yet, unexpectedly, the greatest gain turned out to be this.
"Lord Hades!"
"I will take my leave now!"
"Hmm."
Hades nodded indifferently, and Charon respectfully departed.
After Charon left, Hades took out the 72 Demon Pillars of the Heavenly Interval Star, holding them like 72 toothpicks floating and spinning in his palm.
"The essence is correct, but they are too weak," Hades sensed, confirming the situation, and murmured, "Born from the small world, such a situation is normal."
"However."
Hades continued softly, "For the Underworld, as long as the essence is intact, it's sufficient."
Then!
Hades did not hastily use the 72 Demon Pillars to support the Underworld. Doing so would be meaningless, as their current divine power was insufficient. Forcibly supporting the Underworld would lead to the destruction of the pillars. Do not underestimate Hades' Underworld; after being nurtured by the World Tree, it was gradually becoming a complete world. In such a case, forcing the pillars would cause problems.
"The divine power of the 72 Demon Pillars is insufficient for now," Hades thought, "but placing them in the World Tree for re-nurturing should be fine."
Hades obliterated the 72 Demon Pillars, leaving only their essence. He extracted all impurities, transforming them into pure essence, and injected it into the World Tree.
Now, the 72 Demon Pillars would be nurtured within the World Tree. It wouldn't take long for them to be re-nurtured and ready to support the Underworld.
Moreover.
Since these 72 Demon Pillars would be nurtured by the World Tree of the Underworld, their essence would perfectly correspond, making them the most suitable pillars.
"However," Hades murmured as he watched the 72 Demon Pillars being nurtured within the World Tree, "this is still not enough. Just this is not enough, so..."
