Shion seemed oblivious to Shinji's inner turmoil as she inspected him with admiration.
"Do you intend to kill me?" she asked.
Shinji couldn't decide.
Suddenly, as if sensing Shinji's murderous intent, the small bell hanging from Shion's chest emitted a dazzling light.
"What's this?"
Feeling threatened, Shinji stepped back.
Others might not know, but Shinji understood the witches of the Ghost Kingdom well.
The small bell on Shion's chest was a powerful magical weapon.
It appeared to protect Shion, but its true purpose was to seal her priestess powers, preventing young Shion from inadvertently harming those around her.
In essence, it was a restraint disguised as a protective charm.

Though Shion was a novice shrine maiden now, Shinji pondered if his "Susano'o" could withstand Shion's sealing technique. After all, the witches of the Demon Kingdom possessed the ability to seal monsters of tailed beast-level power.
Ignoring the risks wasn't feasible.
So he turned to illusion, fixing his gaze on Shion, activating his Mangekyo Sharingan, and implanting a psychological suggestion in her mind: "You haven't seen me."
Instantly, Shion froze, repeating mechanically, "I haven't seen anything. I haven't seen anything."
"Did it work?"

At that moment, a distant fire reflected in the night sky signaled a large group of torch-bearing guards rushing toward the palace in haste.

As Shinji pondered how to return to Konoha Village, he vanished into thin air with a swift movement.
Finding himself in a familiar room, Shinji realized he had returned.
The wall clock showed about thirty minutes had passed.
This was around the time he had witnessed the hand demon slaughtering guards and subsequently defeated it.
In other words, he had teleported to the area where the hand demon had invaded—the palace of the Ghost Kingdom (witches)—and returned instantly after the battle.
It resembled the "Flying Thunder God Technique" in some ways.

A sudden stabbing pain shot through both his eyes.
Enduring the agony, Shinji quickly deactivated his Mangekyo Sharingan, the scarlet eyes returning to their usual black.

Shinji had witnessed the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan collection that night, seeing the medical team remove eyes for preservation.

Thus, among the four pairs, Fugaku's seemed the most accessible and likely for Shinji's success.

Though urgent, Shinji knew rushing this investigation risked failure and entanglement.
Improving his physique and ninjutsu remained paramount.
As thoughts swirled, exhaustion overtook him, and sleepiness crept in.
After the battle's adrenaline ebbed, fatigue set in heavily.
