It has been a month since I gained the mansion. The ghosts that haunted the place were all sent to the afterlife as well as the place cleaned up and fixed. The old man that gave me the place mysteriously passed away and left us the mansion. Yunyun has taken to the harem idea like a fish to water and is very cuddly with me when in our home or just us on a quest. She sleeps with me and Helena in her light panties and one of my old t shirts.
Helena has aqua dressed as a maid most of the time when she's not on a quest. Yes I got dark magician girl and yes I have her summoned. Her and Helena get along great especially with her bubbly personality, she's teaching Yunyun ancient Egyptian magic right now. Yunyun soaks up magic like a sponge and it's kinda scary sometimes. All of the girls including the succubi and slimes have been to my natural dungeon just to gain strength and fighting experience. Aqua's intelligence is still lacking but she's gotten better at following directions from us so that's a plus. I've evaluated my power with the system to devil standards and I'm high end of high class devils close to low ultimate class while the girls are mix matched in the grades. Helena Lyra and Yunyun are close to my level, aqua is high ultimate class in power alone but low class otherwise. The succubi are middle class level and the slimes are low class.
Luna waves at us as we enter the guild before going back to her job. Helena saunters on over to talk with her as I look at the quests and sigh at the low quality of the quests. I pick up the frog subjugation quest since it's a repeatable quest. Turning away I see a girl with a wide brim witch's hat posing like a chuni at Helena before falling flat on her face from hunger. 'Looks like megumin is here, perfect' I think smiling, ' sheay be annoying and flat but I believe with the right guidance she could be powerful. She likes explosions so maybe if I get deidra's exploding jutsu style I can convince her to use that.' I walk up to her picking her up and sitting her down getting a mumbled thank you.
" So who's this girl Helena," I ask feigning any knowledge of her.
" This is megumin she's from the crimson demon clan. Same as Yunyun" says Helena ordering out food and giving some to megumin. Megumin eagerly digs into the meal like it might be her last which I don't blame her one bit. Her life growing up was rough, barely any food for her let alone her little sister, ostracized by her own village. I nod and look at her adventure card noticing the high level explosion spell and that's it.
" Looks like a glass cannon scenario, Helena," I say showing the card," only one spell and it's so basic compared to some I've seen."
" Hey explosion is a master level destruction spell," says megumin loudly.
" Yes it is but I've seen people set this off like it was free candy, Helena and I know a explosion spell and I can think of more ways to use explosion spells," I say as she sulks mumbling about not being wanted.
" You're in ," I say," welcome to the party, I'll teach you some more explosion magic if you'd like to learn." She nods excited at the prospect of learning more explosion magic. 'Heh tactical nuke dropped on riser phenex,' I think already planning that far ahead.
