Capítulo 8: "Arriving at Hogwarts"

Leo woke up, looked at Harry and Ron who were already wearing their robes, and then remembered what happened.

...

Once he arrived at the station, he marveled at everything before him.

People wore robes as if it were something common, magical animals walked between the feet of their owners, and owls made their characteristic sound from time to time while in their cages.

Since I didn't have much luggage, I quickly made my way through the crowd and arrived at the entrance of a magnificent train.

Once inside, in the last rows I found a completely empty car.

I sat down in one of their seats and placed my backpack next to me, then I took out a book about monsters from mythology, not only because I liked these stories but because I didn't know when I might have to face one of them.

It didn't take long while I was reading.

Maybe ten minutes?, before a boy with a lot of luggage enters the car.

Looking closely it was the boy he ran into earlier at the entrance.

He stuck his head out and looked inside, when he saw there was space he asked me if he could come in, there was no one else with me so it was fine with me.

He came in and placed his owl on the couch opposite mine and quickly left to put his things away.

He pushed his luggage away and tried to place it in a compartment.

At first he didn't plan to help...

But seeing how he was sweating a lot and his arms were shaking like spaghetti every time he pushed, I couldn't help it.

Once I helped him I returned to my seat and before he sat me down, he introduced himself.

When I learned his name I was a little surprised, not for the same reason as the rest of the wizards, but for the simple reason that I did not expect to meet the protagonist of the Harry Potter book. At least not so soon.

But I quickly pulled myself together, I didn't really care much about his 'fame' and I wasn't interested in pretending to be surprised.

After a casual chat, we were interrupted by a pair of twins, I simply shrugged and sat back down with the book in my hands.

While I was reading... or so I tried, the train began to move slowly, I settled down and prepared for a long trip.

But when he was about to read quietly, a red-haired young man entered with a rat in his hands.

At first he was very rude and asked really stupid questions, I couldn't help but look at him with pity, he must be a poor boy, he probably hit his head when he was born.

Harry nodded in response to his question and the redhead sat next to him to ask stupid questions again.

In the end I couldn't take it anymore and made a sarcastic comment, it really seemed pedantic to me.

Do you have to confirm someone's name that many times? It's not like he's the rich guy who snapped his fingers and saved the universe, he's just a kid our age.

But to my surprise, he actually apologized and introduced himself properly.

Apparently he's not a bad person, he's just a little stupid.

Seeing how he extended his hand to her as a sign of friendship. I was silent for a while... but thinking that you shouldn't slap the one who smiles at you... or was it the one who shakes your hand... Ahem! Well, I think you understand what I mean.

I also extended my hands and we made passes.

What followed next was a pleasant chat that was interrupted by a woman passing by selling sandwiches.

It was just a glimpse and I was delighted, so many sweets and cakes...

Damn...how can a demigod be so poor; Leo thought as he remembered the Big Mac menu crushed in his backpack.

It's not that he's starving... it's just that he's been eating hamburgers for a whole month, now that they put so many sweets in front of him...

Feeling the saliva dripping from my mouth, I quickly wiped it off and pretended not to care.

However, Harry seemed to see something, and something more shocking than seeing a Fury for the first time happened before his eyes.

Harry took out many gold coins from his coat and dominantly said.

"I want everything in the cart"

Damn it... tyrant! I'm facing a tyrant, maybe I wasn't wrong to call you Harry Stark.

But once I heard that it was for everyone I quickly looked at him kindly, before him, Harry at this moment was the same as a god.

He even wanted to kneel for a moment and call him dad, but thinking that if Poseidon knew this he would have to worry about drowning every time he drank water.. he decided better not to.

After a little shock they spent a good time playing with the dragees, while we got to know each other better and in the course of the game I realized what a true Emperor Ou means.

As Harry tasted the dragees they were all delicious flavours.

As for Ron and I... it's best not to say it, I'll just say that I'm glad the windows are sliding.

Hours passed and it was already late, we had traveled a considerable distance and while I was resting looking out the windows, I found many centaurs running through the mountains.

But when I mentioned it to Ron and Harry they looked at me a little strange. Apparently they couldn't see anything, but well at least thanks to this I realized something.

As long as mages are not aware of the existence of these mythological beings, even if they are not considered 'ordinary' humans, in normal situations they will not be able to see them unless they know about their existence and firmly believe in it.

I quickly got bored of watching the centaurs run and continued reading.

In fact, although I say read... the truth is that it was quite complicated.

Being a demigod in modern times comes with some side effects, including dyslexia and THDA.

Seeing how the letters move from time to time, it is very difficult to concentrate, for this reason Leo always had a hard time being a good student.

While trying to decipher what was written in the book.

Ron caught my attention with a supposed magic trick.. of course this 'trick' is a really magical one, although looking at his wand... I don't think it works very well.

But before it started a girl opened the door and asked about a toad... or something like that I didn't pay much attention.

All my attention was on her, she had a ruddy and delicate face with a lot of brown hair, she was wearing a wizard's robe and she raised her head arrogantly.

Honestly, it was the first time Leo had seen such an adorable and pretty girl. He was stunned at the whole conversation he even forgot to see Ron's spell.

However, something that made him snap out of her daze was that the girl, as if her mouth were a machine gun, fired words mercilessly.

Leo didn't understand how a girl as pretty as a doll could say so many words, so fast and in one sentence...

'Wait...did he just say I memorized all the first grade books?'

For a moment I felt like I was seeing an alien. We were simply people from two different worlds...

As if proving that he wasn't lying he got up and fixed Harry's glasses with a simple spell.

While Leo thought in his mind: 'You bastard of learning'.

When she sat back down, she started mumbling again and Leo knew but the first time she was young she was more annoying than she thought.

But there was one comment that particularly bothered him.

When she told Harry that if it were him she would read even more. He got a little angry.

'Do you think that everyone has the same possibility of reading whenever and however they want?'

I haven't even read a book on magicians yet, does that mean I'm irresponsible?

I just can't do it even if it's in front of me. That's why I couldn't help but reply unconsciously.

Apparently the girl ignored him, but as she was leaving she said something that bothered him even more.

"By the way, you have the book backwards and you should stop reading fictional stories, just because magic exists doesn't mean gods do." Then he turned around and walked out.

'Hehe asked me if you will think that if you meet a mythological monster one day, plus I'm a demigod, did he just curse me that I don't exist?'

After that we just chatted a little and I don't know when I fell asleep.

...

Leo stood up from his sleepy state and quickly asked.

"Are we there yet?"

"There's still five minutes left, I wanted to get you up but Harry said it wasn't necessary." Ron said as he pointed at Harry.

"Don't look at me like that, you seemed very tired."

"By the way, do you really have no robe?"

"If I have it, I just don't bring it with me"

...

Five minutes pass quickly, before we knew it we had already arrived at the station.

Everyone left their luggage on the train, but I refused, there was something important in mine that I couldn't afford to lose.

I put my backpack on my shoulder and we left with the rest of the students.

A huge giant called to the first-year students and separated us from the group of the school's seniors.

We walked through a leafy forest, the mud flooded us up to our ankles and it was very dark.

On the way, from time to time you could hear the scream of some girls when they found some insects and the soft murmur of the trees rumbling with the wind.

We walked for a few minutes until we reached a somewhat elevated place.

"Wooosh~." With a strong sound of the wind.

A narrow path appeared before us, it suddenly opened at the edge of a large black lake.

And on the top of a high mountain, on the other side, with its windows shining under the starry sky, was an impressive castle with many towers and turrets.

"No more than four per boat!"

The giant named Hagrid shouted so we could all hear.

On the shore of the lake. Harry and Ron climbed into one, followed by Hermione and me.

Hermione and I stared at each other for a moment and then we both quickly looked away.

"Have you all gone up?"

"Come on! GO!"

The small fleet of boats moved at the same time, gliding across the lake, which was as smooth as glass.

Everyone was silent, contemplating the great castle that rose above their heads as they got closer and closer to the cliff where it stood.

However, there was something that bothered Leo a lot. In the lake beneath his feet many voices murmured something.

They said that they were in danger, that once he woke up it would be the end for them.

These voices echoed in his head at the same time giving him a severe headache.

"Lower your heads!" exclaimed Hagrid, as the first boats reached the rock.

Everyone bowed their heads and the little boats were taken through a curtain of ivy, which hid a wide opening in the front of the rock.

They went through a dark tunnel that seemed to lead them just below the castle, until they reached a kind of underground dock, where they climbed among the rocks and pebbles.

"Hey, you're fine, you look a little pale."

While holding my ears I looked at the girl who was talking.

"What was missing, Hermione, I don't need your concern." Although it sounded a little bad, she was not in the best mood right now.

The girl felt a little offended, she turned her head away and didn't speak again until we reached dry land.

Once I put my feet on solid ground I thought the voices would disappear, but no and the pain had not decreased at all, little by little it was getting worse.

So as I walked I couldn't take it anymore and I told the voices.

"Shut up, you're very annoying!"

For a moment, there was silence in that strange passage, everyone looked at me as if I were a weirdo.

As for Hermione who was talking to a girl.

While he was chatting with her and boasting about her knowledge, he heard Leo's scream.

Thinking that she was the closest to her and the only one who was conversing out loud, he thought it was her....her eyes became watery and he quickly ran forward.

Leo wasn't aware of so many things, he only knew that the sound in his head was gone and that the headache had gotten better.

Once the voices were gone he was finally able to pay attention to what was around him.

And he had to face the accusatory gaze of the people.

"Bah, bastard."

"Hey?."
