The next moment a he saw a palace suddenly manifest inside his knowledge sea, all the while he saw the palace with a hint of confusion and excitement.
This palace was his mind palace. Yang feng was a confused as he did not think that this would happen and was excited because as soon as this palace appeared he felt a sudden shift in his knowledge sea.
After a quick scan of the entirety of his knowledge sea, which he could effortlessly do as this was his knowledge sea.
He learned that a copy of all his memories and techniques he had read or whatever he had ever comprehended in his life was saved inside the palace. This means that whatever he will encounter, all the knowledge related to it will be stored inside palace.
The main part of this that he was excited about was the protection the palace provided. When he wished for the memory palace, he had in mind a palace that could not be affected by anyone or anything.
This means that no one would be able to change or erase his memory as a copy of his memory will always be saved in the palace, which was literally impenetrable and inaccessible to anyone but him.
After the excitement died down he exited his knowledge sea and called out.

Yes, yang feng had advance directly to the fourth stage immortal ascension realm and also raised his body Cultivation to early tier 5 which was also equivalent to the immortal ascension realm. Not to mention that his soul strength was equal to a peak immortal ascension realm cultivator.
But all this was normal considering the amount of energy used during his breakthrough. It has to be known that yang feng was already at the very peak of the True Element Realm, that he only needed to open his knowledge sea to advance.
Next he used the fourth layer of the Foundation Rejuvenation Nirvana Pill that provided him with a lot of unused energy because he had already pushed his realm to the limit.
He also used more than a thousand spirit stones that had an immense amount of Qi inside them and absorbed all of the Qi, which would have made even 10 early stage Immortal Ascension Realm to blow up from the large amount of Qi.
As for the his Body Cultivation's sudden leap. It happened because he had refined all the energy from the heavenly tribulation without wasting any energy, along with the boosts he gained from opening his Chakras as well.
Not to mention, he had also absorbed the blood and vitality from the corpse of a monster beast and converted it into energy to temper his body cultivation as well.
Although the corpse had lost some blood before he had stored it inside his inventory, but it was still the corpse of a tier 6 monster and the energy inside it was not something to be underestimated.
As for his soul cultivation, it was not much of a surprise for him. After his reincarnation he had already deduced that his soul was stronger then normal people and it continued to grow stronger as he started cultivating.

After going through all the changes in his body, yang feng looked around him and saw the insects still standing around as if waiting for an order. So he ordered them, "Go and find herbs and materials and bring them back here for me."
When he finished, nearly all the insects went in different directions in groups, leaving behind a few true element realm insects that yang feng ordered to stay behind and guard the cave.
He then entered the cave again and sat down in a lotus position. 'Now that I have brokenthrough I should first consolidate my realm and focus on the other thing for now.' he thought to himself before he started to consolidate his cultivation.

Meng wu ya on the other hand was still in a daze by what he had seen. When the thunder tribulation was about to do the last strike, he was prepared to intervene.
But yang feng shocked him by withstanding the attack without much of a problem. Not to mention that the entire time during the tribulation, he hadn't used his Qi to protect himself.
This showed just how powerful his physique was. Meng wu ya thought, 'what a powerful physique. According to the power of the stikes just now, the kid should be able to fight early immortal ascension realm cultivators with only his body. Coupled with his dense Qi, he might even be able to fight someone in the Low- Transendant realm.'
This thought honestly scared him a little because as yang feng continued to cultivate his body like this along with his Qi, he would be virtually unbeatable in the same realm. But he also developed a bit of respect for him as he knew how painful body refining can be.
He then watched curiously as yang feng order a few insect monsters and went inside the cave, that he had rushed out of earlier. Seeing the youth go inside the cave, Meng wu ya was left contemplating on a few things that only he knew about.

*Haah* yang feng exhaled after he finished consolidating his cultivation. 'It's been nearly a month since we entered the island now. I was able to increase my strength so much in just a month's time, I wonder how the girls are doing.'
As if remembering something, yang feng focused in his heart and felt Su Yan's presence on the other side of the island. 'She seems to be immersed in her cultivation for now.' he deduced from the serene emotion he felt from her.
'As for ning cheng, I won't have to worry so much, as that old man wouldn't leave her side and keep her safe.' he then though of what to do and remembered something.
He swiftly summoned the mystic demon tomb and open it. On the fifth page he saw the spirit array that was used for opening the myriad drug pond. After glancing at it, he turned and opened the seventh page, skipping the blank sixth page.
When he opened the seventh page he felt a seal placed on the page. As he already knew, he started to pour his spiritual energy into the book. It took a few minutes before he felt the seal break.
Once the seal broke he felt a great suction force from the force that tugged at his soul that he resisted. The next moment the book glowed with a golden light, which lasted for a few seconds.
When the light faded, above the page now floated what looked to be a closed eye, the Demon Eye of Annihilation. Yang feng then extended his hand and grabbed the eye. Yang feng then continued to examine at the eye for a moment.
A thought came to his mind and he concentrated. Then suddenly a dark, ominous aura was released from his body. This aura would give a person an impression that he was looking at a being that came straight from the depth of the abyss.
When he released this aura, the eye seems to have found a companion and started to vibrate. Yang feng also felt as if the eye was somewhat excited. So he extended his divine sense towards the eye.
As the eye came in contact with his divine sense, it seems to have disappeared from his hand. Yang feng then looked inside his knowledge sea and saw that the eye have taken root inside it.
But he felt a bit different then he thought it would feel, he felt connected to the eye on a much deeper level. When he came out of his knowledge sea and dropped a drop of his blood into his left eye, he felt a mysterious power emitting from his eye.
He felt his vision being enhanced even further and he was also able to clearly see through the isolation array he had placed around the cave before entering his retreat.
He knew what this implicated and was excited about it. In the original, it was much latter when the eye had acknowledged yang kai, allowing him to use the eye in the outside world. But it looks like the eye had already acknowledged him as it's master.
'This is an unexpected but welcoming occurance. With this I won't have to worry about falling into illusions and can also use the eye to study different types of arrays.' after a few experiments he stopped using the eye.
"I have already reached the immortal ascension realm but I still haven't studied any type of laws. So my focus for now should be to increase my knowledge of heavenly way and study different laws."
After thinking about this, Yang Feng delved into his knowledge sea and accessed his mind palace. In there he started to go through all the knowledge of different laws he could find in his memory.
It didn't matter whatever type of knowledge it was, weather it was gained after studying different techniques, knowledge he comprehended by himself, or even the knowledge he gained by reading different novels and such from his past life.
Although all the knowledge there was whatever he had already knew, the knowledge from different novels was unexpectedly of great help to him. Before he started cultivating he had read the novels but he didn't gain anything, but now it was different.
He was able to gain some insight about the five elements dao, yin-yang dao, spear and fist dao, from the novels. But he was not able to comprehend much about the other daos. Some of the knowledge was too veage while for some he was not able to grasp much of which he attributed to his low cultivation for now.
Another unexpected thing was, as he was going through the different knowledge, he came upon something he didn't think he would find. He saw his memory about the visions he experienced when he was absorbing the heaven-devouring insect.
By going through that knowledge again and again for a few times he was able to touch upon the devouring dao. Though he was not able to gain much, but atleast he knew that he could also use his memory palace in such a way.

In such a way, it has been nearly three months since the group of four entered the island. During this time both Su yan and Xia ning cheng had also brokenthrough the immortal ascension realm.
Their breakthrough was also quite intense and both also directly brokethrough to the peak of 2nd stage immortal ascension, with the help of the spirit stones Yang feng had given to them.
Meng wu ya who had been observing and protecting both during the process of their breakthrough, had began contemplating about his life, 'Since when did cultivation become so easy! Are these three that heaven defying or are the other simply trash...'
Just when he thought of this, his mind went back to yang feng's heavenly tribulation. '*Sigh* heavens are truly unfair.' he thought of this and for the sake of his mentality, gave up on this thought.
