Luo Huian turned to look at the mer who had dropped his writing pad on the pedestrian path and raised a brow. Would you look at that, Liao Liqin in the flesh? Did she do something to make the devil happy with her or something? 

"Shouldn't it be the heavens?" Xiao Hei asked while looking at Luo Huian with a confused expression on his face.

"If I am meeting them it's because of the grace of the devil," remarked Luo Huian without giving her filtering her thoughts. After all, why would the heavens dump one temptation after another in front of her despite knowing the situation of her soul? 

She was about to turn her head away and leave without exchanging a word with Liao Liqin as she was more than aware of his disgust towards her, but then –
