Capítulo 1: Prologue
Qyuira City: Afternoon
It was an ordinary afternoon; I was heading to a restaurant to deliver the flyers they had ordered.
My name is Asim, and I am 23 years old. Currently, I'm working at a card-making store where we create many types of cards and more custom-made items like business cards, invitation cards, marriage cards, flyers, printing documents, photos, etc. My parents passed away in an accident, and after graduating from high school, I started working there to earn enough to live a normal life.
There are four people working there, including myself. My job includes cleaning, delivery, assisting the other three with their work, and running errands. There is one who is in charge of designing the custom-made items, then another for printing the designs and turning them into reality, and lastly, the boss who is responsible for interactions with customers and sales.
I stopped at the road and waited for my turn to cross to the opposite side, where the restaurant is located. After a while, I started crossing the road. I didn't know what happened, but I was sent flying into the air.
After falling to the ground, I saw two cars crushed together. The car that had stopped at the red light had been hit by a truck from behind, and the impact moved the car forward, sending me flying.
I tried to stand up but couldn't. I tried looking at myself but couldn't move my head and could only see the red blood around me. Three people came up to me and tried to help. The three people who were crossing the road with me were injured but not to the point where it could be considered fatal.
They tried stopping the blood flowing from my body but failed. I couldn't even speak because most of the bones in my body were broken, and my whole body had wounds from the impact. They called for an ambulance and tried to help me.
They were talking to me and trying their best to save my life, but I couldn't hear them clearly. It had been a while since I was hit, and I was starting to feel pain all over my body, and the pain was increasing gradually. My sight was becoming darker; I could barely see and hear. The pain was so intense it felt like I would faint any moment now. I could do nothing but pray for the pain to go away.
"It hurts so much... please, someone... please... stop this pain... please... it hurts."

After hearing something that was barely audible, I didn't understand what it said, but in an instant, the intense pain I was feeling faded. Before this, the only thing on my mind was the feeling of pain; I couldn't even think clearly.
"Am I going to die... I wonder if I'm going to Hell... or Heaven... I wasn't someone who did good deeds."
"Damn it, whoever did this to me is crazy... was someone taking revenge on me or something? What do they take me for... a demon?"
It's not like I committed any crime worthy of taking revenge on me. The only thing I can think of is the cafe where I worked as a part-timer in my school days and another part-timer who was slacking and making me do all the work; I reported it to the boss and because of me, he was fired.

"Damn it, how could I die here? I was going to become a successful man very soon. The boss was planning to open a new store, and he told me he wanted me to become its manager. After a few years, I would've been able to open a store of my own where I could make all the cards I want."

These were my last thoughts before losing consciousness and dying.
