{Sorry for the wait had a shit ton of stuff I had to do}
I'm outside the castle waiting for Mai to get here so that she can give Yugi starchips. 'Though due to my influence on her she might not give Yugi any starchips since they haven't had many meaningful interactions so far. Even if she doesn't have enough I can give Yugi and Mai my starchips since they aren't 100% needed to plan. It also looks like Yugi is still under his duel funk and is refusing Joey's starchips. Oh finally I see Mai coming up to the castle.'
POV [Mai Valentine]
'Is that Yugi? what's the little guy doing out here?' "Mai! what are you doing here?" oh Joey's here too. "What do you think Wheeler I'm here for the finals just like you are. I see you've got all of your starchips so what are you doing here outside the castle."
"It's Yugi, he lost to Kaiba and he lost some starchips but that isn't the problem he's out of it he isn't talking." "So the little guy finally lost huh, well little guy I've got something for you"
I flash my 5 extra starchips just enough for Yugi to get 10 and for him to continue on "Well go on ahead take them or what my starchips ain't good enough for you?"
"Well hold on Mai Yugi is going through something different he doesn't wan-" "Oh shut up Wheeler I know what's going on Yugi lost once and now he can't handle it I might aswell leave if this is how Yugi's going to act."
As I turn to leave I remember something, a lesson my friend gave me to care of others even if they fail. "Ugh!" as I turn back around to face Yugi again. "Yugi look I know that you failed in your eyes and may feel defeated but let me tell you something about my time on this island. I also lost but unlike you I lost all of my starchips to an eliminator he beat me down an was doing to throw me off the island.
But I mean saved me and told me something, to always care whether or not you fail and to always care about yourself and the others around you. I can see that you care about your friends and that they care about you but you would be letting them down if you give up right here. Even if your up against something you don't understand or something to far for you to reach understand that even if you fail you have your friends to help you along the way, Yugi you have friends something I wish I had you them to be your motivation to never give up!"
Looking around I see that everyone is astonished with Joey, Tristan and Tea with wide eyes as I realize that I maybe said a little to much.
Yugi speaks up for the first time. "Thank you Mai you've given me enough reason to go on and to continue fighting."
"Er your welcome Yugi take the starchips, I'll be inside the castle." I rush away from Yugi and the rest of them into the castle. 'Maybe he'll be in here?'
POV [Riku Yulunger]
Watching and hearing Mai I'm a little embarrassed I mean I haven't really talked to people like that in years and to hear it from someone else is just much.
'I really didn't talk to people much in my past life it after they died I really only had my family and a couple people who I strangely, or not strangely played YU-GI-OH with. I wasn't completely alone nor did I bottle stuff up like before but I never really shared like that before.
Anyway before I let my ADHD carry me away, the final plan can start now all I need to do is wait. Which now that I think about it planning around these events has been easy so far, like all I have to do is intervene here and there to make sure the events follow cannon then make a plan to capitalize during the characters weak points. Like if I was evil or I could've used this weak point of Yugi to like steal the puzzle or something, or like take his cards.
I'm getting of topic again, so first step is to wait untill Yugi defeats Pegasus then I'll take Pegasus down without killing him, either through dueling or fists. Then I'll take his Millennium Eye before Bakura to foil is plan and after that I'll have to use Pegasus to either take control or Industrious Illusions or bring it down since Bandit Keith has me in a bind, Haa...
Should I just kill Bandit Keith? It would be easier and if I use the eye I could turn him into a doll after a shadow game, but I don't really want to go down that path afterall if I go full bad with my cheat I could use and bring so many powerful spirits here and that wouldn't be good. I already have so many mental issues and in the YU-GI-OH series mental problem mean an alter ego and a Yami version of me would be terrible.
So many options so little time. I should've thought about this earlier, but I thought I wouldn't have had to think about character changes like Mai is clearly different and Bandit Keith is smarter than I thought if not a little rash. Anyway I really only have 3 options continue with the plan of destroying Pegasus and get enough duelists on my side to combat the shadow duelists of Marik, take over Industrious Illusions and betray Bandit Keith and become the card printer, or I could wing it and see what I can do.'
2 Hours Later
"The semifinal matches are set it's Yugi-boy verses Mai Valentine and Joey Wheeler verses Riku Yulunger!"
'I chose to freestyle, sorry Keith.'
