POV [Third Person]
Riku makes his way to near the front of the stadium and there waiting for him is Tommy who starts talking as soon as Riku gets close "Hey Riku you ready to duel I'm so excited I'm gonna trash you for all those losses you put me through after school." With the taller teen responding in kind. "Sure you will I'll trash you as usual." The referee then askes if both participants are ready with both sides saying yes the duel begins "2x DUEL"
A coin is flipped and Riku goes first drawing a card he then sets a monster and a spell or trap face down and ens his turn. The small teen Toomy opts to go loud saying that he will finally defeat the the violet haired teen, they then start their turn "I draw! I summon Steel Orge Grotto #1 1400/1800 then equip it with sword of deep-seated and I end my turn." Riku then takes his turn"I draw, I'll set another monster and end my turn."
Tommy takes his turn slowly only drawing and ending his turn with Riku doing the same. On the next go around Tommy makes the first move by attacking the newer of the 2 set monsters in response Riku activiates a trap card. "I activate the trap card Mask of Weakness lower your monsters attack by 700 Steel Orge Grotto #1 1900/2300---> 1200/2300 making it so that the now face up Oni Tank T-34 survives and deals back 500 life points.
Tommy 2000--->1500 LP
POV [First Person]
'After dealing the first 500 life points to Tommy I feel like I'm in a good position with a follow up summon of my Twin-Headed Fire Dragon to destroy his powered up Steel Orge Grotto #1 that is until Tommy plays his next card after the battle is finished, Polymerization as Tommy declare toward me.' "I use my Steel Orge Grotto #1 on my field and my lesser Dragon in my hand to fusion summon Metal Dragon 2350/2100 and with that my sword of deep-seated will go back to the top of my deck." 'Another difference I saw between this world and the original Yugioh is that fusions are more worthwhile within the rules of the game while fusions can't attack the turn they are sumoned they are stronger than in my original world and they avoid destruction by battle once.'
"I end my turn as my monster can't attack the turn its summoned." I gulp as i realize that the Twin-Headed Fire Dragon in my hand isn't strong enough to take down the Metal Dragon. "I draw! Yes I activate Pot of Greed to draw another two cards from my deck now I summon Twin-Headed Fire Dragon and equip it with the spell Stim-Pack boosting its stats to 2900 ATK and 1700 DEF. Now I'll use my Twin-Headed Fire Dragon to destroy your Metal Dragon." 'After declaring my attack and having it go through the ability of the fusion monsters activates stopping its destruction although Tommy life points aren't saved.'
Tommy 1500--->950 LP
'Even If I'm winning on paper I still feel uneasy on what Tommy still has in his hand.' "I end my turn after setting down on set card." As Tommy draws my feeling gets much worse as I almost feel the power of Something near the top of Tommy's deck. "I draw and activate Pot of Greed then I summon my strongest monster Tri-Horned Dragon 2950/2950." 'Looking at the card I know someethings different was Tri-Horned Dragon always a fire attribute and I'm pretty sure it had 2850 ATK and not 2950 ATK.' "Then I activate Tri-Horned Dragon's effect that lets me destroy one of your monster with less defense than this monsters attack and I'll destroy your Twin-Headed Fire Dragon" Riku 2000--->550 LP "Then I'll chain michizure targeting and destroying your Tri-Horned Dragon." "I activate Tri-Horned Dragon's second effect which allows all damage deal to me not by battle do down to zero."
Tommy Metal Dragon 2350/2100---Riku Oni Tank T-34 1400/1700 1x Set monster.
'As I go to draw a card I feel the same energy I felt when Tommy summoned Tri-Horned Dragon around my deck as I got to pick up a card to draw, one card seems to force it's way to the top of the deck and as I draw I see the card Beast Of Talwar. I think I know what just happened as this seems to be protagonist power? or maybe spirit power is it related to my cheat? Either way I won't be ungrateful for this opportunity.' "I summon the Beast Of Talwar 2400/2150 then I attack the Metal Dragon using Beast Of Talwar."
Tommy 950--->900
"I pass my turn to you Tommy." "Then I'll draw then I will summon flame manipulator and activate the spell card Rush Recklessly to boost its attack points by 700 900/1000 ---> 1600/1000 Then I will attack your Beast Of Talwar.Tommy 900--->100 then I'll end my turn." Surprised I say "Tommy I didn't think you would give up after all this." "I didn't give up It's just that I can't beat you today so I'll save my strength and beat you down tommorrow." "Whatever you say I'll end my turn" and as soon as Tommy's turn starts he declares that he forfits the game. Leaving me as the winner and me moving onto the third round.
