Capítulo 23: The chase

"Prison would look so good on you, Malcolm. Don't you think so?"

Malcolm was startled by the creepy voice of Iris Bowman, who stared at him as if she could tear him to shreds. Apart from her face, everything else about her looked so unfamiliar to him.

"Ghost!!! Gh… Ghost… Stay away. Stay away from me. Ghost!!!" Malcolm shrieked as soon as he saw Iris pop up before him. He was sure with everything within him that Iris was dead. There was no way she would be alive after everything they did.

"Playing the retard card, huh? I admire your foolishness. If only you were this smart with your pathetic life, maybe you would have been something better than the scum that you are."

His eyes flew wide open at those taunting words, and he dropped his hand from his face.

"You really are alive, Iris." He still tried to be certain that he wasn't seeing things.
