Capítulo 259: A Limping Hero

"I am limping now. How can I be a hero?" His men were standing near the lift too. Every nook and corner of this building was his territory now.

Nora waved a hand at one of his men. He looked at Alric for a second before walking toward her.

"We need a doctor to take out the bullet from his leg." the man's eyes widened when he noticed the gunshot on Alric's leg. He informed the others and soon man helped him in walking. They took him toward the parked car.

"Nora.." Nora hesitated. 

"I need to return to the hotel. My exam will start in a few hours and I am exhausted." Alric started hard at her for a few seconds before nodding. The door was closed and the car was sped off.

Nora started at the car with a strange look in her eyes. It was a welter of emotions. Longing, disappointment and pain. She pushed those thoughts away.

When she turned, a young woman was standing behind her. She smiles at Nora warmly.
