Dark Forest, north of the Imperial Territory, Depths of the Temple

I can see, I can clearly see, I'm not crazy at all, I really can see, but there's something very curious, this place is clearly dark. It's not as dark as the previous room, but it's still somewhat dark. I'm walking down a hallway, no more than 5 meters wide, but... I can't see the ceiling, its height, my sight can't penetrate beyond 7 meters high...

Black, worn, and ancient hallways, every 20 meters there's a glass lamp on one of the walls, its light is violet, it gives minimal illumination, but even without this light, I can see, I have no idea why I can see in the dark... My mind is very foggy, confused, it hurts a lot overall.

The place is very silent, only my steps sound calmly, sometimes I try to close my eyes, I try to remember, anything, it doesn't matter what, but I can't, it gives me a terrible migraine... Where am I? Who am I? These two questions are swirling around in my head, I really want to know, I'm very curious, I'm alive, again... it's a shame, but for some reason, I have a strong feeling of happiness hidden deep in my heart, for being alive my mind is happy...

Walking down the hallways I see some stairs, they lead upward, looking around, it's the only way out right now, without thinking much I start ascending, step, after step, step, many steps, I reach the top, light, sunlight passes through the large cracks somewhere in the ceiling, dust particles float slowly as they move, step, step, I have the feeling I've been here before.

-How terrifying...

I remember, I said that, no wait, that wasn't me, it was someone else.

Shaking my head, I keep walking, this place is much smaller than the area below, the shadows move, partially following me, I'm not noticing, they're behind me.

-I'm thirsty and hungry...

I murmur to myself, for some reason I feel I've been under this place for too long, my body is asking for the most basic necessity to function, I step into the ray of light and look at myself.

A black shirt... it's in bad shape, worn out and with a horrible hole in the chest... dirty and with the terrible pain of blood soaked in it...

Pants... not as bad as the shirt, but still dirty and stained with blood...

Looking for any object or food, I only found a dagger, small, about 30 centimeters, it was a bit worn out, its blade not very sharp...

There's nothing else... not a gram of food... there's a crumpled paper, and of course stained with blood, opening it carefully, I quickly identified a map... in the center is what I suppose this place is, a place in ruins, around it are trees, many of them, about 10 kilometers away there's water, a lake or a river, the drawing is poorly done...

-It's a bit far.

For my current state it's too far, I feel tired and weak, getting there will be a great challenge, carefully storing the map and the dagger I start to leave this place.

There are two things I can say for sure, apparently I'm not on Earth... and most importantly this body is not mine... it's only 15 years old, it doesn't match the age I had on Earth, the clothes are too outdated, you could even say they are of poor quality, I'm not sure what exactly happened, but for some reason, I'm in this child's body. I also don't know what happened to that child, but judging by the state of the clothes it wasn't something good.

I don't understand, why is this happening to me, I took my own life on Earth, I wanted eternal rest, but now I'm alive again... in a place I don't know the name of, in a new world I know nothing about, the odds are clearly not in my favor, but even so... Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? I really want to live, I'm happy to be alive... happy to breathe, feel and see... I really want to live.

I can feel emotions, happiness, pain, sadness, and hope, feelings I was unable to feel on Earth, it's new to me, it's an unknown world, it's... what I wanted... what I longed for and what I desired with all my might... I have it now.

It's sunny, it's a unique warmth whether on Earth or in this world, now I'm one hundred percent sure I'm in another world... there are two suns in the sky one bigger than the other, something practically impossible on Earth here is possible...

Frowning I try to shield my eyes, the brightness is too high for me, looking around there are only trees, very large trees, according to the map all I have to do is walk in a straight line from my position... The sun is not at its peak which means it's morning or so I think as I'm basing it on Earth's sun rotation.

-About 80 kilometers away is a city "Valenwood", and beyond this city, I have no idea what's there.

Walking under the trees, I feel much more comfortable in their shadows, the sun is very annoying...

-The first thing I need to do is set goals... I can't go like a headless chicken, the most important thing right now is to get water, food can wait for now, but if I find something edible I'll eat it... I can't walk at night, so the second thing is to find a shelter for the night, and the third is to get to Valenwood city alive...

Get there alive? A laugh escapes my lips, it's very funny, me wanting to get somewhere alive... to live... this is interesting, very interesting much more interesting than Earth, it could be a great start, besides there are many things in my head, small thoughts that are clearly not mine, vague and distant memories, I want to know what happened, I want to reach that starting point, I want to know why this heart is full of hatred, a corrosive hatred.

I want to know...

I want to live...

I want to drink water...
