Capítulo 39: Scary and Charming

Leila was startled by the response. 

In truth, she regretted calling him evil and a devil. 

Yes, he had trapped her in her mind when they first met. After that, he stalked her and invaded her private spaces. He followed her in the shadows, making her feel insecure and exposed. 

But for some reason, she felt a little guilty. 

She felt she had hurt him by implying he would hurt her. From a practical point of view, he was dangerous in every way. She always felt like she had no sense of privacy for the last few days because he was watching her. 

It was a violation. 

It was not right for him to do so.

But perhaps, she had gone too far by calling him evil and a devil. 

She shook her head to dispel the guilt. No, there was no reason for her to feel guilty. It was that connection between them that was messing with her head. She did not know if it was what she thought it was.
