Capítulo 1: Let my daughter go!
"Nooo!! Please let my daughter go! I touch your feet, Louis! Please let my Emma go!"
"Hmphh…" Hearing those pleas, Louis contentedly laughed out loud. "Do you seriously think this will help you today, Ava?"
In a dark room filled with the agony of a woman, who was desperately trying to shield her daughter from harm, Ava knelt on the ground, begging for mercy.
Besides her and her fourteen-year-old daughter, Emma, there were ten armed men in the room, their guns trained on the two of them.
Emma was bleeding from a knife wound on her stomach, while Ava's forehead bore the marks of repeated blows. Her ribs were fractured from the beating, and she was bleeding profusely. Despite her injuries, Ava's determination to protect her daughter remained unwavering since the moment they were captured.
Louis, a middle-aged man leaning on a walking stick due to having only one leg, bore a large scar across his face, making his appearance unsettling.
He chuckled at Ava's vulnerability. Despite her bloodied face, Ava's beauty still shone through, a fact that Louis found both enticing and frustrating, knowing he could never possess it fully.
"Nothing can save you, Ava. You and your daughter are finished," Louis declared.
Ava's eyes reflected horror as she looked down at her wounded daughter, desperately trying to stop the bleeding and shield her with her own body.
"I'll give you anything you want, Louis! Take my life, just spare my daughter! Please!!" Ava pleaded, her heart breaking at the sight of her dying child.
Ava had endured brutal treatment, her head smashed against a pillar multiple times, her bones broken, and her body covered in cuts. Despite the pain and bleeding, her focus remained on her unconscious daughter.
"Tsk tsk, Ava… You know the rules as the wife of a mafia member. Once a decision is made, it's final. But don't worry, you won't die quickly. The night is still young. My men still need to satisfy their greed," Louis taunted.
Before Louis could finish his sentence, the door was kicked open by a man.
"No one is allowed to touch her!" the man roared.
Louis and the other men turned towards the voice, their hearts pounding with fear. It was their young master, the orchestrator of Ava's abduction.
"Young master," the men greeted in unison.
The man strode toward Louis and Ava. Louis shifted uncomfortably, realizing his plans might be thwarted.
"Son, I didn't want you to see her like this, but one day you'll have to face these realities," Louis began but was interrupted by his son.
"I don't care what I see. No one touches her," the son declared firmly.
Louis clenched his fist in frustration, unable to carry out his intentions in front of his son.
The son's gaze fell on Ava, who trembled in fear at the sight of him. Her desperation peaked as she realized who he was.
"Why did you do this to Emma?" Ava demanded, her voice shaking.
The man hesitated for a moment, regret flickering in his eyes as he looked at Emma, before raising his father's gun and aiming it at Ava.
"I'll spare you the sight of your daughter's death, Miss Torres. I'll take care of you first," he said coldly.
Ava felt dizzy from her wounds, but she refused to let go of Emma. Her lips trembled as she begged for mercy, willing to endure anything to save her daughter.
Seeing Ava in such a pitiful state, Louis's son hesitated for a moment before ultimately deciding to end her suffering.
"I'm sorry. I can't allow that," he said before pulling the trigger.
"Ahhh!" Ava screamed in agony.
"No!" Louis shouted.
