"I told you," he enunciated, "There will be no point taking revenge when you don't enjoy it every step of the way. It would be a total waste of time."

Avery disagreed immediately, "I don't think so. The actual waste of time will be when I take my time bringing them down one after the other, and end up forgetting what made me start this in the first place."

"So what's your new plan?"

"Take them down in one go," she replied, her tone belying a hint of firmness. "I don't need to enjoy what I do; as long as they end up getting destroyed in the long run. I also decided to visit them...Emma and the others, once every week, since it looks like I'll be needing reminders to put me on track and help keep my number one goal in mind. What do you think?"

"Doesn't matter." Archie shrugged, "Just know you can come to me..." there was long pause, "...when the pain gets unbearable."
