[Congratulations, Broken! You have achieved an outstanding accomplishment by successfully completing the quest of smelting iron ore and carbon into steel and producing a high-quality product.]
[As a reward for your efforts, you have been presented with five gleaming steel bars - three of low-grade, one of mid-grade, and one of high-grade - in recognition of your hard work. Congratulations, and happy crafting!]
Broken smiled as he finished the quest. "I have completed the quest, sir," he said with pride in his voice.
Fokil nodded in appreciation. "Good. It seems you were fortunate enough to smelt a high-quality steel bar with just low-quality iron ore. If you can get your hands on high-quality iron ore, you can use it to craft even better materials."
He continued, "Now that you have demonstrated your proficiency in smelting, it is time for your next challenge. You must create Elite-grade gloves from these steel bars. It will not be easy, but if you manage to complete this quest, it will be a testament to your outstanding blacksmithing abilities."
[Craft an Elite Grade Gloves]
[Rating: B]
[The Master Blacksmith has tasked you with crafting an Elite-grade glove. You must use the knowledge you've learned from Fokil to create a glove of Elite grade. Be sure to pay close attention to detail, as the slightest mistake will ruin the entire project.]
[Clear Conditions: Successfully craft Elite-grade Gloves.]
[Clear Rewards: 40 stat points.]
Fokil demonstrated the proper technique for hammering the steel, his powerful blows ringing through the smithy like thunder. Each strike seemed effortless yet precise as if he were sculpting the metal with an invisible hand. The sparks flew with each hit, lighting up the room with a fiery brilliance.
"Your turn," Fokil said again, handing Broken the tongs and hammer.
Broken felt a surge of excitement and apprehension as he took the tools from the master blacksmith. He grasped the tongs firmly, lifting the heated iron from the forge and placing it upon the anvil. The metal glowed a bright orange, ready to be shaped.
The resulting clang echoed throughout the smithy, drawing Fokil's attention. The master blacksmith watched closely as Broken continued to shape the steel, his every blow deliberate and focused. Though his technique was unpolished, there was a raw talent and determination that could not be denied. His hands moved with a growing confidence, each strike more assured than the last.
The fire roared in the background, casting flickering shadows across the smithy. The heat was intense, making the air shimmer.
"Forging a glove requires patience and precision," Fokil said. "Each plate must be shaped with care, ensuring that they are both durable and flexible enough for the wearer."
Broken nodded, sweat dripping from his brow. He focused on the task at hand, determined to replicate Fokil's motions down to the smallest detail. As he began shaping the first metal plate, he found that maintaining the balance between strength and flexibility was trickier than it seemed. He adjusted his grip on the hammer, striking with more finesse.
[Congratulations! You have unlocked a Dexterity Stat.]
[This stat will increase your effectiveness in all production classes and give you a higher chance of crafting higher-quality items. Enjoy your newfound edge!]
Broken was delighted to finally acquire the Dexterity stat. He knew this was a requirement for all production classes. Though he couldn't allocate stat points specifically to Dexterity, this new attribute gave him more options to become efficient in his craft and improve the potential output of his crafting.
The next step for Broken was to complete as many quests and achievements as possible to collect stat points. This was essential for staying competitive with other players who continued to level up. Crafting like this would also help him level up and progress his Self Transcendence Blessing, making it a win-win solution for him.
"Careful, brat," Fokil warned when he noticed Broken struggling. "Too much force, and the plate will crack."
Gritting his teeth, Broken adjusted his grip and applied a gentler touch. Gradually, the plates began to take shape, their edges curving smoothly under his careful guidance. He felt a surge of pride with each successful strike, but there was no time to bask in his accomplishment – he had to keep moving, keep learning.
"Good," Fokil murmured as he observed Broken's progress. "Now, let's see you assemble the plates into a proper glove."
Swallowing hard, Broken set about connecting the plates with small rivets, following Fokil's example. His hands worked steadily, his concentration unwavering.
"Almost there," Fokil said, his voice filled with anticipation. "Just a few more adjustments, and you'll have yourself a fine pair of gloves."
At last, the final rivet was in place. Broken held the completed gloves up to the light, marveling at the intricate craftsmanship that had gone into their creation. An indigo aura glowed softly around them, indicating that he had successfully crafted Elite-grade gloves.
"Excellent work, brat," Fokil praised, clapping a heavy hand on Broken's shoulder. "You've truly outdone yourself today."
[Congratulations! You've done the impossible - you've crafted an Elite grade equipment with your own two hands on your first try.]
[Your dedication and skill have been nothing short of extraordinary; you should be feeling proud and triumphant.]
[Your hard work and determination have paid off - not only have you achieved greatness, but you've also earned yourself a bonus reward of 40 Dexterity Stat points! Now that's something to be excited about!]
Broken was beaming with joy, unable to conceal his happiness.
Fokil looked at him with immense pride and satisfaction in his progression. "Let me give you something for this accomplishment."
With a knowing gesture, Fokil walked away and opened the door to another room.
Broken watched in awe as Fokil came back into the main room and placed something down before him.
"Take a look at this one, brat," Fokil said with a hint of a smile. "It's a blueprint for a Royal Hammer that will come in handy for your work."
[Congratulations! You have successfully created an Elite Grade Glove!]
[Your Quest 'Craft an Elite Grade Glove' has been upgraded to an A-rating.]
[As a reward, you have been given a blueprint of a Royal Hammer and 40 stat points.]
Broken's heart skipped a beat as he struggled to contain his overwhelming excitement. He couldn't believe his luck - receiving so many amazing gifts in one day! First, he was bestowed with 40 points in Dexterity. Then, he got an additional 40 stat points. And now, he had a blueprint to create a Royal Hammer. This was perfect for him, as he would frequently use a hammer for work. Having his own top-notch hammer would definitely give him an advantage.
"Thank you, sir! This is an incredible reward," Broken exclaimed enthusiastically. "I'm so fortunate to have received so much from you today!"
"Enough chit-chat," Fokil replied with a chuckle. "Why don't you inspect the stats of the gloves you just crafted?"
Broken nodded in agreement and then proceeded to examine the gloves, taking in all the detailed information.
The gloves felt sturdy yet flexible in his hands. The craftsmanship was evident in every metal plate, showing the care and precision that had gone into their creation. As he appraised the gloves, a notification appeared before him.

Broken read the description of the gloves with an overwhelming sense of joy. This was the first time he would finally have a piece of equipment with Elite-grade quality. With this, he would have one part of a complete armor set. He still needed to find the rest to create a full set of armor, but he was quite satisfied with the result. He even gained a new skill attached to the gloves.
"Double Strikes," Broken muttered under his breath, feeling a thrill at the potential this skill held.
The Double Strikes skill allowed him to deal double damage with a 10% chance. Although the percentage seemed small, if he could combine it with a weapon that had a high hit rate and fast attack speed, it could be incredibly powerful. Using the knuckles he planned to craft later, the combination could be devastating.
"Congratulations, brat," Fokil said, clapping him on the shoulder. "That's a very good pair of gloves for a beginner like you. I think you can use those gloves to fight. And listen, don't go around embarrassing me by dressing like a beggar when you're my apprentice and all, okay?"
Broken grinned because he was still using very poor armor and basic clothing he had bought from a merchant. Despite this, he had managed to earn quite a bit in the past few weeks hunting in the forest. But of course, he still needed a better set of armor and a good weapon too!
Broken immediately put on the gloves and felt satisfied with the results. These were level 50 gloves, which would be sufficient for his hunting needs while he worked on crafting something of an even higher level.
Filled with joy, Broken said, "Thank you, sir. I have a fighting class too. Soon I will craft some gear that I need to complete my fighter class."
"Alright," Fokil continued, "You can find some blueprints from merchants and auctions. You need to gather the materials required for the armor , enough to fight and hunt monsters. Then, you'll be able to craft the Moonvine Knuckles."
Broken immediately thought about searching for more blueprints and felt very enthusiastic about crafting another piece of armor he needed.
But then he suddenly remembered the blueprint he had acquired from Fokil. The Moonvine Knuckles—he hadn't had the chance to check the details of the blueprint yet.
"Have you read the description of the blueprint? Do you know about the materials you need?" Fokil asked.
"Not yet," Broken replied. He hadn't yet checked the contents of the blueprint, as he had just learned the Appraisal skill and had been too busy with quests.
Curious and eager to proceed, Broken decided to take a closer look at the blueprint for the Moonvine Knuckles.
[Hey there, you've reached your daily online limit!]
[To ensure your well-being, we'll be disconnecting you in 60 seconds. We hope you have a great day!]
A notification popped up in front of Broken, something he had never seen before while playing Immortal Legacy. He had used a full sixteen hours in a day to log in, the most he had ever done.
Damn, Broken muttered as he remembered that the system had warned him to log out several hours ago. However, he had been too excited to craft the gloves and had forgotten about it. Now he had to pause his work and come back the next day.
"Sir, I need to go for a while," Broken said, looking at Fokil. "But I'll be right back, soon, tomorrow."
"Alright, brat," Fokil replied. "You can use all the facilities here at the Smithy when you return. And I'd be really pleased if you could start crafting the Moonvine Knuckles soon, too."
"Thanks," Broken said, smiling. "I'll be back soon."
With that, Broken quit the Smithy and logged out of the game.

Leon stepped out of his capsule device, a wide smile spreading across his face. He was beginning to fully appreciate the benefits of being the Sloth Champion, especially after crafting an Elite-grade piece of equipment on his first try. It was truly an amazing achievement. He couldn't wait to go back online the next day, but for now, he had to take a break.
He then walked into the living room, where Lily was watching TV.
"Hi," Lily waved cheerfully.
Leon walked over and flopped onto the sofa next to her.
"How many days has it been since uncle came home?" he asked.
"Uhm… around two weeks? Right before you started focusing on your new profession in the game," she said, giggling.
Leon checked the date and began to remember that it hadn't even been two weeks since he got the Sloth Champion title, yet he had already spent over a month in the game. The time difference, which was three times faster in the game, really made one lose track of their real-life activities. Imagine being able to explore the game for two full days while not even one day had passed in the real world.
It wasn't surprising that those who could utilize the capsule device effectively would develop their thinking or wisdom faster, because, in reality, they lived longer inside the game.
As he daydreamed while watching TV, his phone vibrated. When he checked it, he found an email from the Golden Age Company, the developer of Immortal Legacy.
Leon frowned, reading the subject of the email. He quickly opened it and skimmed through the content, which was related to an Elite Player Support Program (EPSP) for potential players in Immortal Legacy.
He had heard about this before, that Divine Champions, in particular, received special support from the company, in cooperation with the governments of their respective countries. This program aimed to ensure they received adequate support due to their drastically changed status in Immortal Legacy.
Thinking about it again, even in just two weeks, he had grown so much. It made sense that the company had thought this through to ensure the safety and well-being of these players.
He nodded slowly, realizing the immense influence of Immortal Legacy. Many major corporations invested their money in it, making it a significant new medium for promoting their products within the game. That's why top players were becoming new celebrities, gaining recognition and even developing their own fanbases.
Top players in Immortal Legacy indeed had such significant privileges.
The email concluded that someone had been assigned to support Leon for some period of time. He nodded slowly, wondering if this would interfere with his fun playing the game. Did he really need this kind of program?
Leon pondered for a moment, unsure if this guidance would enhance or hinder his enjoyment of the game.
"Leon…" Lily whispered, snapping him out of his daydream.
"Yes?" he replied, looking puzzled as he turned to face her.
"You promised we'd eat out tonight, remember?" she said, giggling.
"Oh, right…" Leon said, suddenly remembering. "Let's go then." He quickly stood up. "What do you want to eat?"
"Nothing too special. I'm sure we can wait for uncle to have a special dinner. How about some snacks and fast food?" she suggested enthusiastically.
"Sure, let's go. Fast food is the quickest way to have some fun," he said, grinning.
What do you think of this Elite Player Support Program? Will it be a blessing or just another distraction for our boy Leon?
