It wasn't long before it was Aiden's turn, though Patrick went up before him.

Patrick stepped onto the stage, and the testing artifact confirmed his status without issue. He returned to his place in line, his expression neutral.

"Still level 11 as a witch," Aiden muttered under his breath, watching Patrick take his spot behind him.

Aiden's name was called next, and he approached the front. The testing artifact resembled a portable speaker with a screen-like surface.

"Place your hand on the device," one of the examiners instructed.

Aiden complied, resting his hand on the artifact. A warm sensation spread from his hand, coursing through his body and eventually reaching his mind.
