Jake's POV

"How's she feeling now?" I asked Gaius.

Steel had called him over to check on her. I was scared at first that the rogues must have attacked her but there was no scratch on her body.

I had put her in my bedroom and Gaius was checking her vitals.

"You should have taken it easier on her, Jake she might be a maid,slave or whatever she still deserves a better treatment." Gaius reprimanded.

"Just answer the question, Gaius." He might be right but I was still his Alpha.

"She is out of arms,she should be up in some days." He explained.

"She's not a Lycan Jake, she's just a normal wolf." Gaius reminded me.

"I know Gaius,I didn't mean to hurt her, she brought this on herself." I snapped.

Gaius took his leave and I was left with Celine alone. I went over to her side and watched her stirred in her sleep,she was murmuring some words. I saw a tear escaping her face and I cleaned it.
