Jake's POV

I had to send Anabelle away from the pack house last night. Her anger made Carl furious seeing how he treated Celine and Chloe. She couldn't control herself and was throwing things that made me throw her out last night.

"Good morning Alpha." Celine came inside my room and greeted me.

"It's Jake when we are alone, Celine." I looked at her. I was still in bed,I was planning to go to the office late.

"And why should I drop the title when we're alone." She sounded annoyed.

She took the mop and the disinfectant and went back to cleaning, ignoring me completely.

"About yesterday." I coughed to get her attention.

"You don't need to worry about a thing,like I promise I won't say a word to anybody not even Chloe will know." She glared at me and replied hastily.

My ego was bruised at her words; she didn't spare me a glance and went back to cleaning.
